Do you agree with the recommended 4+ age?

I gave this to me 4 year old granddaughter. She needed a little help to get going but was then able to do the easy ones on her own. It is a game that will grow with her as the challenges continue to get more difficult as you progress through the book. So yes, I agree with the recommended age. She really enjoys this game.

How many pieces are in the box?

8 pieces + the 2 playing characters

For those who have played both camelot jr and snow white, which do you recommend/prefer? deciding between the two for a child that is four and a half.

I can only talk about Camelot and my kid loved it.

Is there a harder version of Day to Night?

This game is certainly more challenging than Day and Night. However it is a completely different play pattern. In Day and Night you are simply trying to match images, whereas here you have to figure out how to put the "bridge" together based on the setups in each challenge.
