Product's effectiveness varies with phone
The effectiveness of this product depends on the phone and where the SoC is located. I currently have a Pixel 9 phone. The SoC is located on the side of the phone within reach of this cooler. My experience with my Samsung Galaxy S24 was very different. The SoC on that phone was located in the top corner of the phone which is not in reach of this cooler due to the camera being in the way. This cooler keeps the S24's battery cool but not the SoC. The S24 still throttles with this cooler.

Good product
Amazing product. It doesn’t make noise. Is quite silenced as expected and works well, fits perfectly and looks cool.

Nice buy.
Product works great, cools everything. Only problem is it does not fit my current phone. Needs to be a bit wider.

So far I'm impressed.
Purchased this for a geo based game I play. It has me outdoors in the southern USA during summer (HOT!!) and in prior years I've had stuttering and lag after prolonged use of my phone and it was clear my phone was VERY hot.I received my purchase and the 'security' tape on both ends of the device were cut. I don't know if this is a refurb unit or what (isn't supposed to be) so I almost just went ahead and did an immediate return. But I figured I'd just go ahead and see if/how the thing fit and worked on my phone.I'll be updating this review with usage results as I have them.First test was indoors with no particular workload on the phone, just idle. My normal temp is 82F. After about 10-15 minutes this thing had dropped the phone temp to 64F, the phone case was literally cold to the touch! I was impressed. One of the key things I wanted with this device is the pass through charging. I plan to run this off a battery bank and want it change my phone as well. For this initial testing I was using a standard 110v wall plug. The pass through charging does work but it's a slow charge for sure. With 88% battery my phone was showing over an hour to charge to full. With a direct plug in of the phone that dropped to under 30 minutes. So I'm not too impressed with the pass through capability. However I also have no frame of reference here, I've never used a device drawing & using power AND charging the phone all from one USB 'C' cable.I'll be doing some real world tests on this soon and will update. So far I am impressed though. For $25 an 18 degree temp drop is pretty sweet. IF this works as well when the phone temp is 20-25 degrees higher and the ambient temp is 30-40 degrees higher then I will really be impressed. Tentative 5 stars.

Could have and should be great
The amount of people that would purchase this, if the side arms that hold the phone were higher. I have an iPhone 13 mini and not too sure it goes much wider, but the arms that hold the phone iate smaller than my phone with a small case on it. if the side arms were higher meaning it could extend beyond an average sized case that’s on the iPhone it would hold my phone. Will it still work, yes? I tried it with the thickness of my case and it cooled my phone down, however, the phone cannot be held to the case because the arms are not tall enough. Think of all the rideshare Uber, Lyft, DoorDash Uber eats, etc. drivers whose phones heat up and who could benefit from this product if the arms were a centimeter taller maybe even a half a centimeter taller. Think of all the money this company could make, but no. again, my case is just a black TPU case not too thick, and it cannot grab a hold of my phone. Wake up company, make the arms taller to go around the case. It still cooled, my phone down even with this average size thickness of a case.

works as dec - bigger clamps would be helpful
Prosworks as desckeeps iphone xs (which overheats like crazy due to poor quality screen replacement it has no auto brightness even at 205 percent brightness it overheats)fan will keep the xs cooler (not cold nor hot but coolER)keeps the phone from overheating, slowing downi use the phone as a video calling device and this cooler keeps the xs working properlyconsclamps are too small for a caseim pretty sure it would cool even w a thinner case as i have another cooler fan that is magnetic that cools the phone even throughh a case - but that is w a newer iphone not my xs. will have to try to be sure.anyways the clamps on this cooler are only good enough for a xs/12 sized phone basically your avg 6.1 inch maybe up to 6.6 inch phone depending on bezel sizedont think it would work on 6.7 inh phone as it wont fit my lg v20 which has same body size as any 6.7 in devicethe led lights are stupid but being on the back, they dont distract at nightoverall good device and cheaper than the 60 usd units out there that are the same thingboth my cooler fans cost about 40 percent to half those units.aas it keeps my xs working properly even on 8 hour video call, my guess it would help w aaming session.i prefer my magnetic cooler which is no longer for sale on azn sadly. they must have been paying for reviews and got banned as a result.the magnet feature really is helpful and i wish this review unit had it instead of clampsfor what it is, it works and even gives you a cable to charge it

WORKS GREAT made adjustments for NVMe External SSD
I bought this because I was having texture loading issues for Warzone, I read that the resolve was moving from hdd to ssd. This did fix it for me! I purchased a WD_Black P40 Game Drive 1TB external NVMe SSD, confirmed the reviews that it runs warm sometimes hot. Nothing existed for external hdd or sdd cooling so… In order to do that I bought this, then thanks to another Amazon reviewer (N.H.) - I applied thermal paste but added a piece of foil for the heat sink and because I didn’t want direct contact of thermal paste to the external drive. I used the mount attachment as a vertical stand that keeps my drive horizontal. I also used the WD dashboard and turned off the RGB feature. The temperature difference on the dashboard lowered 10 degrees F!
