K&F Concept 77mm Variable ND Filter ND2- ND400 High Definition Nano X Adjustable Fader Neutral Density Lens Filters(HD Nano-X version)

a great kit for the price. You may find the grey ND grad puts a slight colour cast on your photo but considering the price this is to be expected. Good quality ND grads cost hundreds of pounds! All of the filters are supplied in little plastic wallets with sealable flaps and the two carry cases supplied gives you the choice of taking just a small selection with you on shoots. The carry cases are nicely padded and made of tough material with mesh pockets on the inside to hold the filters. I doubt if I will use the other accessories that came with the kit but it is always nice to have spares for emergencies.

Great filter, this is the second I've bought. The range on this is excellent and can be used in most conditions. There is X-ing at the extreme ND400 end but that's to be expected as it crosses over but very quickly goes.

I bought the 49mm, sadly and maybe my cameras fault ! but when on my lens the min and max are at the bottom, so hard to read, and as no hard stops its easy to go into the dreaded X. If I threaded it on top of my uv then the min max showed up on top, not a deal breaker. I also bought the 49mm to keep in my small camera bag or in my pocket while out. The supplied case is huge and obviously its a one size fits all for 82mm and down so bear that in mind if the case size is important to you as you will need a smaller case if you have a small bag etc. I have stackable filters also I planned to replicate that by buying front and back 49mm covers, Sadly there is no front thread so the only way to keep it safe is in the huge 82mm case. Also not a problem for me, but as other people have said, obviously you cannot add a lens hood due to the lever. However I kept getting the X when passing ND400 mark ( that I cannot see, or feel) It also jammed on me twice so I couldn't move it. Returned for a refund. But despite its shortcomings for my use case, the glass itself was good quality and colour was good and images clean and crisp, Glass 10/10, usability 4/10

A must have for videographers especially those who shoot in log. This filter never leaves my lens. Image quality is not compromised, colours remain accurate in my opinion. As with all K&F filters I've had over the years it's a perfect fit.

There is no colour cast with this which I was very surprised with. Blue wise its very good but all these things are expensive. The easy to tun the filter due to the "handle" works well in the field but it stops you from connecting the lens hood. Now not that you need a hood but it good to have a hood to work as a protector and the end of the lens is a good parking spot for it for when not needed. I would certainly recommend this product.

When used at a lower setting this produced a usable result. However, if you are presented with a situation where you had to use the filter at or near the maximum setting, the filter made the top right and bottom left of the image darker than the rest of the image, possibly fixable (Though difficult) on a still image, not really fixable on a film/video camera, where the light potentially changes second by second.

I’m surprised with the manufacture quality of the filter, really outstanding quality. It does exactly what it was designed to do, rotating ring is moving smoothly but firmly at the same time. I found a fact that there are no hard stops even more useful as you can use whatever ND intensity as you need. Photos taken with it does not show any image quality degradation. Fancy but relatively soft case I changed for plastic hard case.

I have purchased a number of items from K&F over the past while including tripods and filters. Both products have not disappointed. My recent purchase of the variable ND filter was an easy one for me. I knew what to expect in the way of quality and there was no hesitation to purchase the ND filter from K&F. Their product quality is great all around and I enjoy using their filters and tripods when I take photos in the field. I highly recommend their products.

Der K&F Concept Nano-X 77mm Variabler Graufilter halte ich persönlich für recht gut gelungen. Dieser wird in einer schönen Kartonbox, einer Filtertasche aus Kunstleder mit Magnetverschluss geliefert. Das Non Plus Ultra ist das Orange Bändchen an der Taschenseite. Wenn man da daran zieht, so wird der Filter sauber aus dem Täschchen nach oben gezogen und kann problemlos heraus genommen werden. Da hat sich aber wer was überlegt.Zur Filterfunktion möchte ich hier folgendes sagen. Ich kann die Meinung vieler im Internet kursierenden Geschichten nicht teilen. Auf einem YouTube Kanal erklärte zum Beispiel eine Person, dass der Filter ein X bilden würde auf den letzten Steps und dadurch keine 1-9 Steps vorhanden wären. Das ist so nicht richtig. Auf meinem Foto oben können Sie sehen das es insgesamt 10 weisse Punkte auf dem Filter hat. Immer zwischen 2 Punkten wäre demnach ein Step. Bewegt man sich wie in der Anleitung von K&F beschrieben in diesem Punktefeld, dann ist "NIE" durch die beiden Filterscheiben verursachtes X erkennbar. Ich habe den Filter jetzt schon seit einiger Zeit im Einsatz. Dieser funktioniert einwandfrei und kostet nur ein Bruchteil von Konkurrenzprodukten.Zudem weist dieser Filter auch noch eine hochwertige Nanobeschichtung auf. Hält man diesen einmal unter den Wasserhahn kann man förmlich zuschauen wie das Wasser abperlt.Ja, ich würde wieder ein Produkt von K&F Concept kaufen. Ja ich glaube der Miesmacherei vieler Konkurrenz Tester nicht mehr hier im Internet!Dieser Filter ist absolut Top, mit gutem Zubehör, durchdacht, und in guter Qualität, zu einem absolut vernünftigen Preis. Also von mit 5 Sterne!
