Has anyone tried mounting with command strips?

I love mounting things with command strips, especially the ones for picture frames, but in this case you would have to be hanging something that was not too heavy. Skis would be too heavy, a tennis racket would be more than OK.

What is the maximum width they open?

Currently, at their maximum open width, Gravity Grabber opens to 1-7/8" wide.

Will these hold hockey sticks?

While the primary function of Gravity Grabber is to hold skis and snowboards, the great thing is, it holds other things too! From rakes, shovels, tools, etc., hockey sticks should be compatible as well!
