I bought a wood burner etcher for the 1st time last year and really struggled with it, really put me off using one.This year, I wanted to change the packaging of the crystal sets that I sell and thought I would give wood burning another go. Spent 2 days perusing through Amazon, and decided to choose this one.This was a game changer for me, so easy to use and made wood burning enjoyable!!!The nib heats up really quickly, the small container for the variety of nibs is a good idea (especially for me who loses things easily) and also the bag that comes with it!!

I am new to pyrography and I have to say this I love it a great set for the beginners or more advanced artist does everything I want , I would recommend this product to anyone thinking of taking the art up great 👍

I’m giving this review as someone who’s still fairly new to pyrography. Previously I’ve had a £10 soldering iron style pyrography pen that was bought as a present to see whether I liked the craft.I have now upgraded to this after finding a distinct lack of control with the first item I had.This has so far proven to be a very good bit of kit for the money! I’ve used it today and was presently surprised by how quickly it heated up and how accurate you could be when using it. The carry case is handy (even if it doesn’t fit it quite right) but that’s a very minor thing. Only draw back is that it does feel a little bit cheap in terms of the materials on the casing and the pen does start to get a bit warm after continued use. However - for the money it’s well worth it for people taking the next step with the craft or looking for an easy entry point.
