Snaps broke within an hour.
Purchased for my 9 ye old to have something to protect his neck and ears while helping at his grandpa's house. One of the snaps to pin the side up broke as soon as he tried to take the side back down after snapping them up. It still works as a hat, just lost that feature.Also, the string around the chin snagged on a sharp edge of the tightening piece and now it looks wonky. Again, it still works, he just has to be extra careful when tightening it to make sure it doesn't snag more.

Lightweight version of a boonie hat
