Perfect replacement for my 18 year old Ford 6.0 Diesel. These were definitely not a normal DIY replacement. I’m an experienced mechanic and I figure it took 2.5 hours or more per side on my truck after I had it on jack stands and both front wheels removed.The largest problem I had was trying to get the wiring harness plugs to come apart, both sides were almost Fused together and I had to use a Dremel tool to cut them in half to remove.Truck sure starts better than it has in years.Several YouTube videos on doing this job, but it was not an easy job as you view is obstructed due to front springs, and worse on the drivers side. The media could not be loaded. Had a check engine light on for 1 bad glow plug. So naturally as someone who takes extremely good care of his vehicles, being a 20 year Master Technician, I went ahead and replaced all of them. They all ohm out good at below 2 ohms within spec prior to install. I test all parts before I install them. Installed them and torqued to Ford spec on my 2004 Excursion 6.0L with only 54k miles. After only 3 days of driving, the tip of one broke off and went into the cylinder damaging my barely broken in engine.See attached photo and video where the tip is inside the cylinder damaging the piston. Sorry, couldn't get my bore scope all the way to the damaged side, but you get the point. Stray away from these. They may have the factory part number and bag, but I don't believe they're actually from Ford. The seller should be responsible for the cost of my engine repairs.

Ok, these are for a 2005 Ford F-250 Powerstroke 6.0This truck was very difficult to start unless the engine was already warmChecking the advanced fault codes it showed that plugs 2 through 8 were bad. I decided to change the glow plug wiring harnesses at the same timeRemoving the front wheels and fender liners is by far the easiest way to get at these plugs. Using the special tool to removed the wiring harness boots means you can than remove these plugs using a 10mm deep socketOnce everything was changed, the engine did not even turn over once before firing right up when it was in the low 50’sThese plugs (along with the changed harnesses) cures the cold start problem perfectlyHighly recommended

I was a little concerned about the price ~$55 for what was claimed to be OEM. Reviews were mixed, some said they were legit others said they were fake. I can confirm that these are high quality glow plug of which appear to be in in genuine Motorcraft packaging. The glowplugs are stamped with "Beru" which is a german OEM glow plug supplier. I work for an american OEM diesel engine manufacture that use Beru, I have no doubt in their quality. I assume motorcraft uses their plugs as well. While they're not "made in USA", I equally trust german diesel parts. (Purchased through amazon seller: 166 Auto Inc)

Great price for them

Installed on 2006 f250 6.0 diesel. Remove fenders you will thank yourself . Also get the harnesses. If you don't damage the ones already on there you can always return the new harnesses but chances are your going to.
