Fantasic AA size light supporting 14500 cells
Single AA size, accepts 14500 cells, very bright, useful beam pattern, on-off (single mode), high quality fit/finish, double o-rings (one protecting each end of battery compartment), reversible hat clip that makes sense, good battery life. What's not to love? I love these lights. This ActiveFire AA size flashlight is a very suitable replacement for the UltraFire SK68 HWA WTS mini flashlight, so long as one does not mind 1) the ActiveFire's nonadjustable beam and 2) the ActiveFire's particular beam pattern (brighter center smooth into dimmer larger circle), in contrast with the adjustable UltraFire beam offering perfectly smooth lighting at the widest angle. These differences acceptable to me. The higher cost of ActiveFire compared with the UltraFire SK68 is also acceptable. The greatest advantage of the ActiveFire to me is its reliability. I have had reliability problems with the UltraFire SK68 (I now believe due to humid environments), which it seems that the ActiveFire does better in (no issues after a couple of months). You can read my UltraFire SK68 review (the units I have replaced with ActiveFire for main use) for background here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R3AJ2J9O44K97U

Nearly Perfect For A Small LED Flashlight
Occasionally you find something thats just about perfect for your needs. I wanted a small lightweight flashlight to keep in one of my smaller toolboxes. I didn't want any brightness levels or flashing options - Just plain old on and off. I didn't want variable focus - just put light where I point. I wanted a small light weight flashlight that didn't take up unnecessary space in my toolbox or pants pocket and could use a rechargeable AA cell for economy. Also I did not want any stupid clips that were screwed on with screws that leave holes in the flashlight body when removed - A clip is just in the way! I'm not parading around with stuff clipped to my belt. This light met my exact needs. The clip just pulls off - no screws. It's not that much bigger than an AA battery. It's bright enough for working in cramped spaces with poor lighting without being dazzlingly bright. And it uses a simple AA battery (I use a rechargeable one). It is absolutely perfect for what I wanted. I do think, however the price is a bit high (battery not included). If it were $10 to $15 instead of near $20, I'd have bought multiples. Aside from the price suggestion, I would suggest making it available in a silver anodized finish so its easier to find in dim lighting.

On/off ezpz
I am reading reviews from people that say a con is that it only has 1 brightness level. Well that’s the reason I bought it. Click on. Click off. I use a flashlight everyday at my job and this fits the bill in terms of brightness and usability.seems well made and durable. Time will tell. See if it holds up like my old fe nix e 11. That one lasted 10yrs but sad to say they quit making them many years ago.
