We used it for a teen room...perfect for extra stuffed animals up top and the futon is perfect for a sleep-over or relaxing with a book, homework, media,or movie/video game - or just plain old visiting... Room for storage boxes underneath.

Really love this bed. It was delivered quickly, was easy to put together, and looks nice. I love the storage and really appreciate the long desk space. I will warn you that you have to pay close attention if you're building it the opposite of the directions (it doesn't come with inverse directions). Additionally, it does wobble a bit, but I think that's just the nature of this type of bed.

If I could give no stars I would!! The holes doesn’t match up, the bed shakes and squeaks LOUDLY. My children are small but I still worry about the bed may fall apart. The material is cheap!! I wanted to send it back but I tossed the boxes everything came in!! I DO NOT recommend!

Purchased this for grandson who is 7 yo. He wanted the bunk bed with a desk. He loves it and that’s what matters

The good news: once it is together, it is pretty sturdy. However, getting it together was not easy. The instructions were only pictures, and it was really hard for my son and I to understand it. My son used to work for IKEA, and knows a thing or two about assembly. The instructions said it would take two people 60 minutes to put together. We finally got it together after 5 hours. We had to take it apart and reassemble some pieces to get the stairs where we wanted them. The instructions were not at all clear. Also, some of the part numbers in the instructions were off (e.g., it showed 30 when it was supposed to be 32).

So far so good for the moment as i just received it. Will update if anything in the future

Thin metal, especially rods that support mattress. Holes do not line up well and wood is thin.
