Glass Decanter Cleaning Beads / 400 Reusable Stainless Steel Balls

I got these to keep my new decanter clean, but I figured I'd put them to a real test and try cleaning my Chemex coffee maker with them. I'm always in a hurry in the morning and don't have time to brush the thing out after every pot, so it gets a bit, uh, groady in there after a while...When it gets pretty bad, I have to spend about a half hour with a new scotch pad and a wooden brush handle to push it down in there, scrubbing the you-know-what out of it. It's not fun.My Chemex was looking pretty bad today - it's been a good six months since I did anything more than just rinse it out - so I poured these beads in there with some really hot water and a bit of dish soap, expecting nothing. After about 15 seconds of swishing, I held the pot up to the light and I couldn't believe my eyes! Holy Smokes! The dark residue was totally gone! I swished a bit more to get them farther up the side of the pot and poured them out into a strainer. Beautiful! These saved me so much work.These were worth every penny for that one cleaning alone! I highly recommend them.

Works well

These are AWESOME! I have a bunch of bottles that I can't seem to get clean at the bottom from tea stains. My brush won't get the edges clean and I can't find a sponge that'll work either. I was searching online and found these. They were cheap so I decided to give them a try! I couldn't believe it! It was just like one of those infommercials - really!!!!! I put a little soapy water in, dumped the beads in, closed the bottle and shook it up for a few seconds and it was clean! I kid you not!. I love these! My new favorite find :)

Beads are much smaller than they appear in the picture (They're 4mm - 0.156 inch). Container has a much more rounded top.and is not labeled nicely like shown (The label was one reason I picked this over a similar item on Amazon.) Can't say for sure whether they're stainless but they are a magnetic version of stainless if they are. I haven't tried cleaning anything with them so they may work but I dislike sellers whose product doesn't match the picture.

I know these beads are sold as being for decanters but they work great to clean out bottles that are hard to clean with brushes too. Suggestion: use a small colander or mesh strainer to catch them when pouring out of the bottle:)

These may be helpful for preventing new stains, but they were useless in removing existing ones. I

Gave them to a friend because she needed some and she mentioned these are expensive BBs. First this is not as pictured. The container did not say it was a glass cleaner. Also, I highly doubt there are 400 beads in there.

They did great job of cleaning 2 decanters with wine residue on the sides and bottom. I wish that I had known about them sooner. I will enjoy using these for many years.
