15LBS ABBA 1400 African Grey and Senegal Bird Seed Mix

For whatever reasons, this is a difficult market to purchase large hookbill food. I was able to order a reasonable amount of food for the money spent (considering how whack the general bird feed market is), and it arrived ready to use in the promised time. Very happy, and more important, our African Grey likes it too.

My indian ringnecks are picky eaters and loved this. Reorder more than once.

I have used this food almost exclusively since the 90s but as of late I am finding too many huge chunks of what I assume is some kind of fruit, way too large for my parrots to eat. I even found a yogurt covered pretzel in the mix. Also, the shipping is very expensive. They only use UPS. I don't appreciate the extra weight of these huge chunks as I have to throw it away after paying for it by the pound. If you want a larger quantity and order from their website directly, you will pay more for shipping than the product. I really wish I didn't have to write this kind of review, as I love the food itself but someone has to say something.

My African Grey eats everything in this mix. He loves it!!

I did not buy this on Amazon rather a smaller bag of same thing before seeing it here... I am owned by a 32 year old African Grey since he was a baby and a Meyers 20 years old... They love this food - gobble it down and perfectly sized for the Grey and Meyers, has vitamin power and although I feed largely a fresh fruit and veges every day to each in the morning and make my own Birdie bread also fed in the morning, I give this to them in the evening as a treat... I do not understand the" too many sunflower seeds" comment in another review as one of the things I like abt the product is there are fewer sunflower seeds than in other quality seed products I have used over the years... I give it a high five! .

Good, but way too many sunflower seeds!!
