Arrived busted open
It's grease, it works. Thankfully I hadn't intend to put this in a grease gun or I would've been sending it back. The container was busted open and there was grease all inside the amazon bag it was sent in. I just shoved the entire thing, amazon bag and all, into a gallon-size freezer bag and scoop some out when I need it.

Last the longest when repacking auto take up and idler pulleys.
I have found that many auto vehicle break downs are the result of the bearings in the idler and take up pullies drying up. I have also found the bearings are subject to wind force which pushes the grease out of the bearing. This is an engineering weak spot. If you look at one of the newer bearings for this application, you will find they have an internal shield designed to reduce this problem. It is not enough. Out of all the various types of greases I have tested for this application, I have found Poly EM works the best. I repack my bearings with Poly EM, once in the spring and once in the fall. A little labor intensive but cheaper and more convenient than a breakdown. Good stuff. Hard to get. Had to wait almost 2 years for availability. Much cheaper by the case. I will now be using Poly EM for all my universal joints.
