Perfect for outdoor walking
It is exactly what I wanted. I use a cane for balance on uneven surfaces but this doesn't work so well when on grass or unpaved areas. This tall walking stick is perfect for giving me the stability I needed.

Nice walking stick
This is a nice sturdy walking stick that is lightweight. I didn't notice that it had a leather string when I bought it, otherwise, I may not have bought it. Being a vegan, I don't buy leather products. Maybe try a different material or no string at all for those who don't use leather. The only other negative aspect are the horizontal grooves that go around the top of the stick – they are uncomfortable to put my hand on when I'm walking. I think the stick would be much more comfortable if it was simply smooth to hold at the top (without the grooves). They actually hurt my hand as I walk. But otherwise, it is a sturdy walking stick and it is very nice looking (the stained and coated wood). The rubber boot at the bottom of the stick is very sturdy too and a nice feature.

Better than a cane
Really like it, I’m 74 but really didn’t need a cane or walker but wanted something I could use when walking in case I slipped. It supports up to 250 lbs and the wood is beautiful.

Great walking stick
My husband has a bad back and this stick is helping him walk more without as much back pain. Very sturdy and stable.

Walking aid during physical rehab
Due to leg injury, I'm in physical therapy for several more months. Went from walker frame to cane. The main issue with both of those is that after initial recovery, I leaned forward too much when using them. I needed a walking aid which I could use to stand erect and re-establish my stance and walking stride. As the walking stick is shoulder height (54"), it works well for me (5'7")to stand erect as I continue my therapy. This stick is larger in circumference than anticipated. I have long hands so it's OK for me. Consider that if you have smaller hands.
