Going on an Airplane: A Toddler Prep Book (Toddler Prep Books) Paperback – September 3, 2021

Read this with my almost two year old several times over the few days leading up to his first flight. He really enjoyed reading it and talking about what we would see at the airport.It was also great that on the day of our flight, we could reference the book and make sense of all that we were seeing and doing.Easy to understand, clear photos, great way to prepare a kiddo for their first flight!

We read this book a week before flying. I was concerned that my 4 year old would have trouble with the noise during the flight, going through the security checks, and the entire process of going through the airport. This book really helped prepare both kids for what to expect and helped give them references when we were going through the process to get on the plane. I love the real-life visuals because we were able to put names on specific things and then were able to call them out when we saw them in real life. They got excited as we were going through the airport and they knew what we were doing and seeing. They both enjoyed the book and I'm a grateful momma to have found this book to help explain things ahead of time!

We bought this book to prep our 23 mo old for his 4th flight and it worked amazingly well! We started reading it about a week before our trip. The pictures are realistic and show all the steps from parking garage to baggage claim. It even included photos and descriptions of wearing face masks for flying. Our son actually understood what was happening during our trip and couldn't stop saying "I fly." We have the dentist book (first appointment coming soon *fingers crossed*) and plan to get the doctor book as well. Please keep adding to the series! Going grocery shopping? Going to a birthday party? Going to a restaurant? I will buy them all!

Great book and held my toddler’s attention. However, pages 1-8 were duplicated at the beginning of the book and pages 21-25 were duplicated at the end of the book. Guessing somebody somewhere is missing those pages, lol.

I Purchased this book for my 4 year old grandson when he and I were flying alone to my house. ( I also purchased 2 other ones because I couldn’t decide among the 3! Lol) . This book was perfect for introducing a toddler or young child to everything they are going to experience during their plane trip. Among the three, this was my favorite and my grandson seemed to gravitate towards this one. It won’t disappoint!

Great book to help kids prepare to go through the airport and take a flight. My daughter loves the realistic photos. It describes the key points of the airport and plane ride. Only complaint is that I wish it came in a board book option too since my kid would tear this one up if given the chance.

The kids were so prepared for their flight. I really think that it made flying solo with 2 toddlers for the first time a really relaxed experience.
