Works as supposed. Never had any problems until now. Really easy to use compared to last app for them.

This is a warning that you may have issues like me. Don't buy the refurbished products, these have a higher chance of not working.I bought a refurbished one of these yale locks, plugged it in, setup. But it would just not connect to Bluetooth.Yale support was quick with the phone number on line with extension 1 then 2. They quickly decoupled the lock from the account. Because as soon as you set it up, and it fails. It will be visible on your Yale account but not allow you do anything.I sent this one back.Bought two more incase 1 has failure.Plugged one in, by taking 1 battery out the keyless connect, inserting it. It did work and connect. But got stuck on an update screen. This was because the lock kept timing out.I rang yale to figure this out, they said because I had already inserted a module into the lock, the lock had remembered this and the lock needed reset after the module had been factory reset.Factory reset the yale bridge first.Then factory reset the module.Then factory reset the lock.To do this, you just need to remove 1 battery.Hold down the R button.Reinsert the battery.Wait for 12 beeps.Then you will hear an ascending tone.The lock has been reset.New master code is 123456Then set the module back up again, and it worked perfectly for me.Both modules now work as intended. They are actually quite good. Integrates with smartthings, can set user codes remotely, can set their access times and durations. And see who was last to open the door.4/5 because I did struggle setting it up. If you get a good one then it will work well, but if you get a bad one, just send it back.I do think £70 is quite steep.considering the locks are now £65 on amazon.But i can't find any other nightlatch smart lock in the UK.

absolute rubbish! let me start by saying I've been an I.T. professional for 35 years, run a professional network in my home even having 2.4ghz, 5ghz and joint 2.4/5ghz wireless networks on separate SSID's. So what's wrong with this unit? Well for some unknown reason this unit works fine when you set it up... unfortunately after that it just loses the connection and won't reconnect again without removing it from the system and adding it back again, not a useful feature and and of defeats the object for a remote system, googled the issue to find a fix but so many users have the vary same issue, even set up a dedicated 2.4ghz SSID with just this unit on it, as usual worked the first time only, so now its on its way back to amazon

With the 3 different yale modules out there, it's easy to get lost in an endless loop of if I buy this one what do I need. How much will the overall cost be. Will it provide the functions I'm looking for. After extencive thinks and rethinks I opted for the one that is right for me. Thank fully chose the right one. Easy to install. Was up and running in minutes. Apps easy to use and integration with Alexa when fine.

Solves lost of the issues with the smart lock I wa having, is very picky about locking and protest quiet loudly if it not happy. Had to remove lock in the end.

Can easily track who enters the building. Be aware you have to have a power point close to the door in order to get signal.

Purchased this so I could finally do a firmware upgrade and get rid of the ugly old conexis app!3 attempts to get this working.1st and 2nd attempt the app crashed resulting in bricking the module and 2 phone calls to technical support to reset it so I could add it again.They did send some very specific instructions which if they were in the box would have probably prevented the havoc this reigned on me!Overall something the size of a lighter took 2 hours to get working!The plus side is it provides a great deal of functionality and yes updates to the firmware! As well as live updates when it's locked and unlocked from both smartthings, rfid tags and app unlocks!Door sense is a bit pointless but does show door open and close on smartthings, no use to be as I have a dedicated contact sensor for this but a backup won't hurt!Finally the battery status reports correctly.Once configured it does work as intended I just hope the communications don't fail!But in all honesty these are the things you'd expect to see from out the box!Don't get me wrong it's a brilliant idea yale can release new modules to bring an existing product a new lease of life and prevent it going obsolete and in the bin! But £100!?! Nearly the same price ad a brand new unit!!!Thankfully this was a amazon warehouse deal and I got it significantly cheaper (and unopened) otherwise I would have chosen to suffer with the old clunky firmware and zwave connection. Which zwave is slowly disappearing from the domestic side!Overall if you have ocd or a first gen conexis l1 lock with it being temperamental I'd recommend it.
