A great battery find
This battery works great!! It was easy to i stall and matched my laptop perfectly. My laptop has been holding it charges now and lasting without being plugged in. I usually plug it in by the 6th hour so I have not tested if it last longer.

Perfect Fit and Easy Install
My dell G5 5587 battery wasn't taking a full charge and it was only lasting about 15 minutes. This was a perfect drop in replacement and the included screw driver made it a 10 minute job. You will need to reuse the battery cable attached to the old battery.

Battery life
This battery has better battery life than the one I removed but I wish it had the reserve the original did. There are not many battery options for this older computer.

G3 battery replacement
Battery was easy to install and worked like a charm! My G3 laptop works like it was brand new. To calibrate the battery, charge it to 100% then drain it down to 20%. Charge again and repeat 3 times over.

Still,Working
Old battery needed replacing and DELL customer service did not process my order in time. As a result, I had to rely on OLE AMAZON and they never disappoint. This vendor had good reviews and I totally agree. Battery is still charging.

Would not hold a charge
I bought two batteries from this supplier. One seems to be working and the other will not hold a charge. My original Dell battery wouldn't last more than 30 minutes, so I bought a replacement. I didn't get around to installing the new battery for a couple months because I was using the PC at a desk and wasn't in a hurry to change out the battery. But when I did, boy was I surprised! I would like to send it back and see just how good the service response is. Not sure how since I tossed some of the packaging.

Dell battery replacement
Easy to install. Just take the back cover off the computer, unscrew a mounting plate, and disconnect the wire. Make sure to discharge any static electricity. This battery is my second from owning the laptop in six years.
