Durable, Sharp, Compact With Good Sheath
Very sharp, cut through heavy CAT6 (23AWG Shielded w/ 600V Insulation) like butter and show no signs of getting dull or any looseness in the hinge pin. I don't cut anything bigger, so can't speak to how it would be with larger gauge wire. Anything more than 16 or 18 stranded you should probably be using diagonals anyway. The serrated region (where I do all my business) grips the cable so it doesn't squeeze back out when cutting. The unserrated area edges are very sharp to the touch - be careful. The holster is simple and confirms the tool all the way stowed with a nice click. Overall, I love them and use them way more than I had originally thought I would.

“YOU SHOULD BUY ONE NOW!!!”
They are easily one of the best pair of scissors I have ever used (outside of trauma shears). They are compact, lightweight, and surprisingly rugged. These scissors are simply EXCELLENT.Included photos to display other variations of these scissors from another manufacturer. The Engineer PH-55 multi-purpose scissors are identical in appearance, are also made in Japan, but are available in other colors. The Engineer PH-55 is also available in red and I will be updating this review when it arrives. Meanwhile, go ahead and add these scissors to your cart and checkout!

3 years later…
As an hvac tech I abuse my tools, and I’ve had the same pair of vampliers scissors in my tool bag for 3 years now. Let’s just say I’ve tested what they will and won’t cut, and these little things will cut light gauge sheet metal ductwork and hold up to it. Even after all of the abuse they’re still standing strong and still very sharp, 100% stand by vampliers.

Honorable Company
These shears cut amazingly. They’re uncomfortable to use and the sheath doesn’t stay put. When I bend over the shears slide out of the sheath and fall out. The handle broke on me today when cutting polymer tubing equivalent to a drinking straw..Hoping Vampliers honors a warranty and replaces this🤞Update: Vampliers reached out and offered a full refund. I’ll replace this tool with the same as I like the size and functionality. Also a fan of the company. Now, Let’s get back to work 💪

Awesome cutting
So far I have used these scissors for a multitude of things. They work really good for opening boxes. They cut really well and seem very durable. The handle is ridgid but I don't kind that if they get the job done. If it was any softer then it probably wouldn't last. So far as would recommend these scissors. I also have the pliers and they work better than any I have had before.
