How good is this product with airbrushing and color washing miniatures and figures?

Works good with airbrushing and for miniatures as well - though they arent special for those like the vallejo ones for miniatures and figures, those are the best for that.

Can you make a wash out of this to be able to show the pattern of burl wood?

Yes, but u need to apply thin layers to stain the wood up to the point u want to, the wood itself will show through the stain perfectly, and as they are acrylics, you could wash it out easily.

Do you need to thin for air brush?

U could thin , depend the effect you desire , but you could airbrush as is without problem

Are these acrylic inks?

You can use them in markers as-is. I don't know enough about acrylics inks to answer that question, but you could ask Golden. They answer questions promptly.
