The items works well for storage. I also like the added protectors for used between the pieces.

Great way to protect dish ware.

I bought these to store away our Christmas China. They were exactly what we needed for safe storage.

I have storage sets that have held up over 30 years that are very similar to this set by Laminet. So I was interested to see how the quality of the containers would compare. Laminet did well, especially for the price point. The containers are made from 2 layers of fairly strong plastic material that are "quilted" together. The zippers in my old containers are metal while the Laminet zippers are sturdy nylon and inserted very well. They move well around corners and I feel confident in their durability. Some reviewers wish that the containers had cardboard inserts in the bottoms and handles. I prefer to line my containers with small bubble wrap so that I can carry the filled container and maintain contact with the china when I move it. Furthermore, even a stack of 12 china saucers is heavy and I would not trust any sewn-on handles. The set contains foam inserts (such as moving companies use) to place between plates, but they are really only a size useful for saucers. You can fit 12 plates into each piece and I was able to "fit" 2 turkey platters into the platter case. My traditional coffee cups measure 4.5" including handles. I wrapped them in moving foam sheets and they fit comfortably in the cup case which is lined bottom and sides with cardboard. I covered it all with small bubble wrap before zipping it closed. These storage containers are designed to protect porcelain from dust and minor bumps. They are not meant to be the sole protection for a cross country move.

I got what I paid for but unfortunately I didn't read the fine print on how big the foam dividers are. The description says 6x6, and shows square dividers. I received round 7" diameter dividers. They are not big enough for the dinner or salad plates, and are too big for the saucer case.

this is the second time I ordered this packet for additional plates or bowls for a complete china set.....very study and well built including the zippers....they certainly help protect the edges of the pieces

Got these to store my mother’s China. Has plenty of foam thin spacers to put between plates. Perfect for my needs. They are soft, so if you are looking for sturdy , these aren’t for you.I will buy again for Christmas plates

I maybe should have read the description more closely. It appears to be cushioned in the pictures, but it is not. The saucer and dessert plates fit well. The salad plate containers were to small to fit into the container as well as the soup bowls. However, the quality of this item is good.
