This is the best lip ointment we've tried, hands down. We live in a dry climate and even mild winters are harsh on lips and skin. As crazy as it sounds, Blistex ointment can make all the difference! It's something everyone in my family appreciates.Like many husbands, mine eats too much spicy food during football season and his lips pay for it. Our teen daughter has dry, frequently cracked lips and had cold sores when she was younger. I just like something that works when I need it. Blistex to the rescue!Blistex ointment WORKS, plain and simple. It goes on light, not waxy, it doesn't have an offensive taste (yeah!) and it starts to work right away. I particularly like that it's in squeeze-tube form rather than "Chapstick" style; you can swipe off what you need with a clean finger and don't have to worry about spreading germs or "contaminating" it for the next time you need it, which is especially good during cold season ...or if you're in a group of teenagers who all suddenly need lip balm. :DI usually buy Blistex by the dozen so we always have some on hand. I haven't seen the .21 oz tubes for as cheaply as the .35 oz tubes are listed here, so we're definitely going to become Subscribe & Save fans. Thanks, Amazon!

Ok, confession... I absolutely love Blistex Medicated Ointment. Hence my purchase of the 12-pk. What can I say about Blistex? You can use this product for dry lips and many other things like small cuts and minor burns.Anyone see the movie, My Big Fat Greek Wedding? Remember the dad always using Windex for everything? Ok, so in reality, that product that you can use for everything is Blistex! We use this for everything. Think you might be getting a cold? Nose dry from constant wiping with tissues? Get the Blistex! Got the summer time bug bites driving you crazy? Get the Blistex! Got one of those nasty paper cuts from filing you papers? Get the Blistex! Did a drop of grease hit your arm while cooking breakfast? Get the Blistex! Did you wake up to find an ugly pimple on your face? Get the Blistex!Ok, you get the idea. Blistex has several uses. In my opinion, every household should have a few tubes of Blistex. You can't go wrong with this product!! Much cheaper to buy in bulk like this than to purchase smaller tubes at retail stores.
