Sony WF-C500 Bluetooth Earbuds with Mic, TWS, Up to 20Hrs Battery-White

I got this product for 2999. There were a lot of options below this price point. I literally could have bought 4-5 boat earbud pairs for this price. But I have no regrets. 2 of my friends bought boat tws recently. One of them has weird latency issues where even youtube audio/video don't sync up and the other friend's earbud stopped working after 1 month ( only has one functioning earbud left)About the Sony WF- C500, the sound is crisp and clean. You can customize it according to your taste and preference, there's an app for it.The build quality is good and it feels sturdy. It fits perfectly in my ears with 0 chance of falling out accidentally. The fit is so snug that it kind of acts like noise cancelation.The microphone is also very good. It does pick up a lot of background noise however which is still manageable.The connectivity is very fast and you can also just use one earphone at a time with full functionality.Both earbuds have tactile buttons which are superior to touch gestures in my opinion.It doesn't have any unnecessary gimmicks or unwanted features. The earbuds do what they're supposed to do.One interesting thing I would like to point out is the the latency. I honestly did not expect it would be so good. I play Valorant competitive a lot and I used the earbuds during my climb from Platinum to Diamond.I noticed almost perfect latency. Had no issues during my gameplay.Overall I'd say if you're buying it for around 3k it's a solid buy. I see a lot of reviewers talking about it's case being plastic and no appealing. For someone who only cares about the buds and audio quality. The case really doesn't matter and it's not like its ugly or something. I honestly like it. It has a satisfying motion to it and it glows warm when its charging.

Simple packaging and easy setup. Once you download the Sony App as recommended to enhance and manage the buds your all set.Easy to manage your calls whilst on the go. Clarity of sound for calls and good spatial sound for music. The bass is not overwhelming but Compliments the mid and highs relatively well. You have the option on the App to manage and customize the sound to your preference.Comfortable for long hours of usage with additional in ear cushions to suit your requirements. Overall a great buy at a value price.

I've been an AirPods Pro user for the last three years and I used the 1st generation and 2nd generation. I bought these Sony Wf-C500 in November 2022 for my brother but I never gave it to him because he went to another city. So from that day, my dad has been using these buds occasionally. Yesterday I giveaway my AirPods to my friend and ordered some beginner IEMs as I also use them for gaming. But as I started playing the game (valorant) yesterday night I could not get kills because of no headphones. so I asked my dad for these buds. after using them the sound stage just blew me away the detailing is so good I was able to say where the enemy is coming from I never knew we could get this much detail from a game I was in shock for a while. if AirPods are 1/10 this Sony WF-C500 is a 7/10 (I gave it a 7 because I don't know how good the Sony buds will sound when we spend 25k on them and I never tried any dedicated gaming headphones). so after that, I just played a song and again I was amazed. they sound as good as AirPods Pro 2nd gen and in terms of base quality they are better than AirPods Pro, but they are definitely not as comfortable as AirPods, and there's no option to turn on and turn off ANC. But I believe I can get used to these after a few hours of usage. but I was still unable to digest how good and valuable they were for 6,000 Rupees. you can buy these without a second thought if you're on this budget.

Sound quality is OK though not as good as Sony WF-XB700 which I have been using for more than 2 years. These are smaller and more comfortable than WF-XB700 but it looks like even Six Sigma can't help Sony eliminate defects despite their tall claims. After 6-7 months of mild use the left earbud doesn't properly charge; mostly it doesn't charge and when it does it discharges quickly. When charged, it remains connected to my phone when put in its case though the right one disconnects as it should. The case doesn't charge properly either; takes long time to charge and discharges quickly. I will claim warranty which means I will end up wasting lots of time and energy.

Writing this review after 2 months of use. Within initial days of used a initiated the return process but choose to keep it simply because there's no better alternative at this price point. This product is not meant to be taking calls with was my primary reason to return.I can comfortably use this for around 1.5 hour and then slowly my ears start hurting, so not recommended for prolonged use.Can't sleep with these earphonesI bought another neckband earphone to compliment this. anyway bought for gifting purpose..while testing found its good product.Sound worked well with the godd bass
