Belle Chemical 45% Pure Vinegar - Concentrated Industrial Grade (4-Gallons)

Works great for subduing weeds. Not a permanent fix as it doesn't kill the root 100% of the time, but it keeps the grass and weeds down for approx 2 months during a dry western Oregon summer. I use this in an area that I can't drive my lawn mower into so this helps keep the area from being overgrown. I do use this undiluted in hope that some of the growth is actually killed permanently. Lower percentages of vinegar didn't works as well as this 45%. 30% was pretty good but I figured 45% should be even better. Use rubber anti-acid gloves. This stuff is potent if left on your skin! 😬 Also be careful in tight areas as the smell is very strong if you don't have wind to keep the smell moving away.

0ne gallon vinegar one gallon water. One cup salt. One T spoon dish detergent. No more weeds down my 150ft gravel driveway. Theee applications per year to keep the weeds at bay in USDA zone 7. Have been using for several years now. Very satisfied Eye shield and gloves.

I have used this to clean rusty metal. Clean algae off my wood fences. Rinse bath shower. Make weed killer. Flush clothes washer. Clean concrete. Lots of uses many cleaning uses with various dilution rates.

Good quality, concentrated acetic acid/vinegar. The multiple gallon pack was a very good value for the $, and arrived well packed with no leaks, on time. We use it for weed/plant killer and/or stripping metal. It’s an effective and comparatively safe way to get rid of most plants, but does smell like very strong vinegar, so be aware and prepared to take care while spraying. Wear appropriate ppe, and use in extremely well ventilated areas, like outdoors while standing upwind. Will also strip rust or mill scale right off of steel.

The prior owner of our home installed a lot of landscaped areas that I now have the pleasure of maintaining. So I have a lot of weed control to deal with. I dilute this product 50% with water, add a couple table spoons of dawn, and about a cup of table salt, and then use a sprayer to hit anything I want dead. It kills all exposed foliage that it gets on. Now it won't kill the root, so you either have to reapply every few weeks or come back and pull whatever you've killed, but it your goal is to stop growth, it works great. I tend to go through a gallon of this stuff about every 2 weeks. One note, if you do put this stuff in a sprayer only mix up as much as you plan to use and then rinse out the sprayer after the fact. The first time I used this I left a bunch of it in the sprayer and it ate the internal tubing.
