Perfect vessel for Staghorn

I really like it.
I really like this planter. I used it to repot my staghorn fern. I lined it with a coco fiber basket liner that fit perfectly (I pretty sure I went with a size smaller maybe 16”) then I filled with sphagnum moss, quality orchid mix, and some worm castings. I can see in the future using fishing line and the loops in the corners to secure everything in the basket then mounting rubber feet on the back side (to keep it off the wall) and hanging it on the wall. Just a side note, the basket is rustic and slightly rough to the touch (more so fussy than splintery). If you embrace natural beauty than this basket is for you.

Great product just too small
I thought I would be able to repot my staghorn fern after watching a video on utube. My fern is way to large to work with this.

not just for vandas
Well made, sturdy, and a good price. You can use this with non-vandaceous orchids. For potting a Brassavola nodosa, I first lined it with burlap before filling it with a fine bark medium.
