This worked flawlessly. I plugged it in and it worked without any setup or driver installation (Windows 11). I'm getting 805 mb/s sequential read and 328mb/s sequential write from a 4TB drive. I'm sure I'd get more speed from a much more expensive card or just on an on-board or x16 interface, but that's plenty fast for my purposes. It's only an x4 pci-e slot, after all (the whole reason I got this one). It was definitely the right product for me, since I only had a single, x4 slot open on my motherboard.

Works well with a 1 TB M.2 drive. I like the fact that there are LEDs on the board that show activity for accessing the drive. I installed an M.2 heat sink and it still fit in a single slot. I enjoyed the fact that it had no connectivity issues with my motherboard’s PCIe bus. The design is simple but effective. No cables are required as the board is completely self contained and in a PCIe x1 lane slot.

Worked as expected.

Does what it says on the tin. Allows the mounting of an additional M.2 SSD in a desktop computer as long as you have a free PCIe x1 slot. SSD mounted on the card is recognized in the BIOS.

Needed to add nvme slot, only available was a pcie slot. Fair price, disbursement need (high bus) speed for this project. Option for half height cases is nice. No compatibility issues... win 10 /win11.

Allowed me to use a spare m.2 drive for extra storage without spending on another SATA SSD for my old Dell XPS 8500. Does the job and was easy to install. Pretty much got an extra 1TB storage for less than ten bucks. Sweet! I can then still use the drive when I build a new PC in a dedicated m.2 mobo slot.Only downside for my situation is finding out the x1 slots on my mobo are PCIe 2.0 and not 3.0 like the x16 slot, so max seq read speed is around 415MB/s, which will hold up just fine enough for storing video files. Not any fault at all of the adapter unit, so still 5/5 stars.
