Great throw. Bright white. Decent spotlight around direct light. Not for kids.
I own 15 flashlights and this is my favorite. I have pocket lights, full wide view lights, etc. this one is a bright white, easy to charge. I looked at YouTube videos that were spot on. This thing throws as far as you can see. It throws through the sky as far as you can see. It will light everything up with the turbo button on the end. This will burn through stuff and the buttons are easily pressed so be careful.

Best Tactical Torch 🔦
BEST features are outstanding concentrated throw! Tail button takes you straight to a night piercing defensive 1900 lumens! TN12 Pro compact size for 18650; Positive grip knurling; C port charging! Great reverse clip.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>This light is by far the best torch I've bought and a little more compact than my many 18650 cell Wowtacs. I have many Wowtac lights (A1, A1S, A1S-BSS V4, BSS V3, A4, A5, A6, and A7) and love them for the extreme durability and savings.Thrunite purchases are T1, TC 20, TC15, now TN12 Pro.If you rolled most of these torches into one, it would probably come out to be TN 12 Pro.It is refined and has three light setting (All usable levels) on the side switch with charge indicator. (DOUBLE CLICK the side switch takes you to 1900 lm)If you only had two torches, backup the TN12 Pro with a A4.TN12 S didn't break the bank ether. Get one.

Almost perfect
I like this flashlight for so many reasons, but there are a couple of issues that can not be ignored. The functionality of this light is awesome. I love having easy access to firefly mode, and being able to set the intensity of the standard beam without having to toggle or deal with the strobe function. I like that the light has a strobe function, but you have to try to get to it by fast tapping the side button 3 times. The high-intensity beam from the tail cap is amazingly bright and will easily blind an attacker momentarily which is really what this type of tactical switch on your flashlight is meant to do. In addition, it is tough, I have dropped this flashlight 4 or 5 times from 7 feet onto a concrete floor and it isn't even scratched. And finally, the obvious big plus for this flashlight is the price. I have a bunch of flashlights, but I think that this is the best flashlight for the money that I own!Now for the issues...Unintended activation. I like to carry a flashlight in my pants pocket as part of my EDC and this is where the trouble lies. The side switch is built in such a way that it can, pretty easily, get turned on by bumping into things while in the pocket. So, suddenly I will find myself with a burning hot flashlight pressed against my leg. Not fun! If this button was recessed just a little so that the bezel around it would keep it from unintended activation or if the button required a little more force to activate that would be awesome.Next, lockout mode, this would be great if it locked out the side switch and not the tail cap. That way the flashlight couldn't be accidentally activated, but you would still have the tactical functions in an emergency without having to unlock the flashlight. I guess this might be a good idea to keep little kids from turning it on (I doubt that would slow a kid down long), but other than that I can't think of a reason for this feature. Finally, the tail cap allows you to use the "tactical" functions of the flashlight by depressing the tail cap button. You can press lightly for momentary mode, but if you press harder it will click and be persistent. Why?... Jut WHY?! Why would you make a 1900-lumen mode persistent? You already have a 550-lumen mode from the side switch. In a tactical situation, you don't want your flashlight to be persistent. You want to sweep with it momentarily to identify where the attacker is and momentarily blind them so that you can move while they are disoriented. If the light stays on you lose that advantage. We are talking real life here, not the movies or some video game. In addition, if you set the turbo mode to persistent the flashlight will quickly get hotter than you want to hold onto.

Super bright
This flashlight is amazing...highly highly recommend. The end does get really hot after just a few seconds on turbo, but the flashlight is long enough that your hand really doesn't touch that. The lock and double lock features are amazing as well.

Great flashlight
Love the light with all of its functions. My only complaint is that the end of the light where the bulb is gets extremely hot after 20-40 seconds of use on the high settings. This is to be expected, but not quite as hot as it gets. Overall a very nice light to have, with a nice, long beam on the higher settings

Very bright and has an ultra low power saving mode.
I like the back switch and the overall construction and brightness but there are a few details that make the design annoying. The included battery is total crap by the way so just make sure to buy your own 18650 cell that is a higher capacity and quality than the 3400mAh they included with this light. The button features do not follow the normal program and you should study the instructions booklet because it isn't exactly intuitive. The feature I do like very much is the "firefly" mode which is an ultra low light setting which allows for an uncanny number of hours for reading or carrying out tasks on a single charge. Good quality except for the side button which feels cheap, and a USB flap which doesn't like to stay tucked in. The side button also has an LED that changes color to indicate battery strength. After fully charging the included battery for 8+ hours, as soon as I turned on "Turbo" mode, the LED indicated the battery charge was already low. I swapped out the included 3400mAh battery for a 9900mAh battery but it still did the same thing. The flashlight tube, rear button, threads, and included replacement O-rings are all 5 star, the downside is that the side button is cheap, the belt clip doesn't flex and will bite hard into a leather belt, the threads are good but not fully anodized, and the USB flap is a weak point for moisture. I bought a better flashlight than this one for about $35 two years ago (Atactical A1S) and I wanted another one just like but they no longer sell them on Amazon so I bought this ThruNight TN12 for $60 because it was very similar. I should have just coughed up the $75 for a SureFire G2X.
