SEVERE WIDE ANGLE, FUZZY IF YOU ZOOM IN
Whoever designed this thing, presumes you want to seat 20 participants, at an executive conference table, put the Meetup at one end of the table, AND see EVERYBODY seated around the table. This design goal results in way more wide angle than what is needed. WORSE, since it does NOT Have any optical zoom, that extreme wide angle means you WILL BE ZOOMING IN, and the resolution goes totally to hell.Had to return this thing. The Logitech pdf specifications IMPLY a 5x zoom. That would imply optical zoom, especially if paying high price of $900. But NO! It is a DIGITAL ZOOM. That means if you zoom, your resolution is disappearing because fewer pixels are being used.Very disappointed with Logitech. I kept faith it's a good brand name, and with a $900 street price, they have plenty money to make something good. BUT it bombed on my totally ORDINARY situation... a 4 x 6 foot dry board and the camera about 9 feet away. Zooming in resulted in a ghastly image. You would NOT get good image of an average scribbled math formula by an average mathematician.Total avoid. I am moving on to something that is truly PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) with motorized optical zoom. What's awful is for $ 900, Logitech should have built this right, with optical zoom. VERY disappointed and now have to try a Logitech Rally. Would like to do a PTZ Optics, but just too expensive.

If you want to zoom the camera in you MUST GET A USB 3.0 CABLE
I deployed a few of these in small conference rooms for use in Zoom Rooms, in part due to their "Zoom Room Certification".The mic quality is great, expansion mic is great in situations where people might not be facing the Tv/Speakermic when speaking. The speakers are good but could use just a smidge more max volume. Still works fine in smaller rooms. The camera quality looked fine in my initial testing, but shortly after deployment I got complaints about image quality. Zoom support couldn't help me figure it out (so basically the Zoom Room certification is useless when it comes to support from Zoom) but eventually it turned out the image quality was plummeting whenever any amount of zooming was utilized. After some testing I was able to figure out that you MUST get a separate USB 3.0 cable in order for any amount of zooming to not look like garbage in Zoom.Once you use a USB 3.0 cable that "5x Zoom" advertised for this product is actually decent and usable.Logitech only mentions needing a USB 3.0 cable if you are intending on using 4k video, and Zoom calls typically max out at 720p (or less), so it wasn't obvious to me that you needed that "4k" functionality for zooming.

Adds Team Room capabilities without expensive Rally Pro Pricetag
Requires a PC, and is not for large rooms! Bought this to add teams room capabilities to a large touch screen in a collaboration room. Had to have a PC on the touch screen anyway, so this added Teams Room capabilities without a huge additional investment. Camera tracking is OK. Video quality is OK (it’s definitely not 4k resolution, and no ‘beam forming’ microphones, but for a small to medium sized conference room, it’s a good product for a great price with little setup effort required (mount it and plug it into computer).
