very lightweight which I'm happy about because my old set of glass nesting mixing bowls is so heavy to get down from the cupboard. Having said that, I hope the fact that they're so lightweight doesn't mean that they tip easily when mixing food in them.

I had a lot of fun with my kids baking together! They are super space saving because they all fit perfectly within one another, they have not tarnished and have maintained their color, even with dishwasher use. They heat up well if you put them in the oven, and they stay in place in front of you without sliding all over. I didn’t get the ones with lids, but that was my mistake. I can’t review the lids because I don’t have them. I would surmise that they are good ones because this is a nice quality for the price you pay. I’d recommend this product to anyone, but I’d suggest getting the lids.

These are very thin-walled stainless mixing bowls. The price is good for the six bowls.I will use them infrequently. I am not a master chef. They vary in size to use for anything I need.The manual says not to use them with any heat and I see why. They are too thin and will fail.If you use them as directed, and are not a professional chef, they should serve you well.
