HiFan Jar Vacuum Sealer for Wide & Regular Mouth Mason Jars, Jar Sealer Kit with Accessory Hose & Adapter Hose Compatible with Foodsaver and Other Vacuum Sealer Machines (With Manual Vacuum Pump)

This vacuum sealer works pretty well. This is ny first one ever, and so far so good. I use the manual pump which works great and creates a tight seal.

Works well. Came in quick and very simple to use. Have already used it on multiple occasions and gets the job done without fail.

I've had one of these sealers before that came with my vacuum bag sealer. That one was high quality and worked great. Unfortunately it got lost during a move. I ordered this one because it was affordable and had a hand pump as well as a tube to attach to my sealer. I haven't tried it with the tube yet, but the hand pump works well. Obviously this is not high quality. I have found that it's difficult to remove from the jar after use, and if you force it, the rubber part falls out because it's stuck on the jar. Other than that it's okay for the price.

We love this item. Super easy to use, over and over again. Not stressful or hurtful to use as we are elderly. AWESOME product!

Sealed the jars I had and works sa intended

Does what it advertises and is easy to figure out.

First the good, both the large and small vacuum covers worked very well with my Potane vacuum sealer and my Mason jars. The suction was excellent and the air was rapidly evacuated. However, I had to use the hose provided with my sealer rather than the one provided with the jar kit since the latter had no compatible hose end to fit the Potane. The Potane hose has a male fitting on one end and a female on the other where the female fitting attaches to the vacuum sealer and the male to the jar sealing cover. The jar kit hose has a male fitting on both ends and does not include a male/female adapter for the Potane. OK, so I was very happy when using the Potane hose with the jar lid sealers so this jar sealing kit certainly met my expectations from that standpoint. However, one reason I bought this particular sealing kit was that it had a manual vacuum pump included which I thought would be a good backup. That definitely was not the case! The hose included with the kit had a sloppy, leaking fit with the manual pump and I could get no suction at all. Also, the male ends were exceedingly tight for the small holes in the jar lid covers and felt like they would damage or enlarge the holes if forced in. I decided to not risk forcing the issue and causing a problem for subsequent use with the Potane. So, zero stars for the manual vacuum pump and included hose. One additional good point, however, with the jar kit is that it includes an excellent tool for releasing a lid under vacuum – 5 stars for the tool! In summary, I am not returning the kit simply because of the bad manual pump and included hose since the covers work so well for my purposes although I really hate paying extra for worthless attachments.
