INFINITIPRO BY CONAIR 2-in-1 Styler; Curl or Straighten with 1 Tool; 1-inch; Black

I was a little nervous about this because of the very mixed reviews, so hopefully this helps someone! I’ve used it twice now, last night for beachy curls/waves and today to straighten. I didn’t wash in between so my naturally straight hair still had quite a bit of curl left. For curls it works like the Tyme iron where you wrap it... it’s easier than it would seem to wrap bc you basically just clamp the hair and rotate your wrist. The tightness of the curl depends on how big the section of hair is and how quickly you pass the iron through. I liked that it gave some natural-looking variation and it was much easier to get the shorter hair on the back & bottom than using a wand. It definitely takes some practice but gives pretty results. I also liked the volume it gave at the roots. As a straightener it works fine; same as other flat-plate irons I’ve used. You can bend your wrist a little to get a slight bend if you want some curve in the length, or flippiness at the end.I think it could also be used like a wand. I’ll try that next and update my review. So far, it does well in 2 ways so it’s a keep for me. I also found it surprisingly slim and lightweight so I think it’s going to be perfect for travel.Pics are the best I had... I wasn’t focused on documenting my hair on New Year’s Eve, but you can see a bit of the curl results.Update: it does not work as a wand, as the outer barrel doesn’t get hot the same as the inside plates. However after using it for another week, I like it even more. I generally do waves but the flat iron works even better on clean hair that on second-day curls. Get it and practice!

worth every penny. obsessed with this product, it does everything it’s easy to use and the results are everything and more. so versatile. if u don’t want to splurge on an expensive curler or straightener, this is the perfect tool, it does both so it’s good for traveling that way u have ur curler and straightener in one. this is an amazon must have for me.

Great product! I am very loyal to Conair products, and I was delighted to find this 2-in-1 styler while on my minimalist journey. Using the right hair sprays, etc., Conair consistently delivers products that are easy to use with good results. This 2-in-1 is nice because my drawer is no longer filled with multiple straighteners AND curlers, I just now only have one item next to my hair dryer. The only down fall is that the pads at the end of the barrel come off, and I assume that’s for styling purposes, but I don’t have gloves, and sometimes they get stuck in my hair. Nevertheless, my hair is generally less frizzy and less heavy when I use Conair products.

So I originally bought this for my daughter who has very long hair; she wanted a good straightener, that could also curl it if desired. Not only does it provide nice loose curls, but the straightener produces a very sleek and shiny look; also seems to protect hair from over drying, as you can set the temp. I've also used it; I have naturally rather curly hair, but I sometimes want a more modern look with a looser curl or a sleeker look. This tool seems to do it all. I'm considering getting another one since my daughter and I now BOTH use it! My new favorite go-to tool. It is a little difficult to get used to the different way you must hold it to do the curling, but it's just an adjustment that we're making. Two thumbs up. PS: Since I've been using it, I've suddenly had many people tell me how much they like my hair; I've not done anything differently except begun using this tool...I love that.

This iron works great, the inside heats up quickly, followed by the outer barrel. I think it's a good price for a good tool.My only issue is my hair felt fried after using it.It's been about a year since I last used any heat on my hair, and after the first 2 passes on one section with this, that hair felt crispy (I have type 3/ 2 mix & super coarse).I really appreciated this one's 2-in-1 where the outer barrel is curved and heats up, & makes curling a lot easier.I still like the concept and would recommend, just probably use a lower heat setting or more heat protectant.

I don't know about you but not much lasts 4 years these days so I'm giving this 5 stars for lasting that long. I bought a new one today after my old one died. I think I left it on the counter and there may have been a splash of water that it steamed on and maybe broke it. The lights would come on but it wouldn't heat up. That said, I've never had an issue with this. I'm black with pretty fine hair and medium coarseness. This thing worked wonders for me whether I'm starting on virgin hair or when I have a keratin treatment on. Easy to use to straighten and curl. I looked for something similar/newer and everything was 100 dollars or more so I went back to the same. I hope this new one lasts just as long if not longer. I'll be better with where I leave it this time.

I love Conair products! My niece first bought this product. Her hair is wavy and when she used it her hair looked great. My hair is naturally straight and I never thought to use a straightener on it. So I decided to give it a try and WOW! Straight hair needs loving too. Love the results and would recommend this to any one plus it's easy to use and heats us fast.

First off let me just say that this is a nifty little tool. Doesn't take up much space,and I usually can't curl my own hair,ever and this is the first tool i've used that works trying to curl it myself. This gave me a beach wave type of look and I'm happy with that. However I gave it a 4 star because I had a very hard time opening the iron itself. (Not the box). It comes already locked which is fine,but it took me a while just to unlock it. I was about to give up on it and wait for my husband to get home and see if he could open it when all of a sudden,it finally popped open. Once it opened and I turned it on,it works pretty easily. What's nice about it is after I got done curling my hair it was great being able to use the same tool to straighten my bangs. Over all a good product.
