Love This Alarm Clock
As everyone is abandoning their alarm for their mobile phone, I still like a clock with an alarm sitting bedside. I use the alarm everyday for work. Every 5 to 10 years I need to purchase a new alarm clock and since I hate waking up early, I want my alarm clock to be as civilized and user friendly as possible. This may be the best one yet. I don't use the USB charger that it has or tge radio too much, but the clock and alarm are outstanding. The clock is a radio wave device so it sets itself automatically and adjust to the government tampering with our daylight savings. The dim feature on the display is great, because it'll get really dim. You can see it in the dark, but it definitely won't disturb anyone. It even has an extremely dim nightlight that will provide a dim glow to the area surrounding the unit. There's a dual alarm, and tge best feature is the alarm volume is progressive. Meaning it starts of barely audible and progressively gets louder unless you turn it off or snooze it first. It's much kinder than a loud siren startling you out of a deep sleep every morning. The unit is compact but the display is a nice size and easily readable. I was quite impressed.. I would recommend this product.

Reallynice and easy to read, no matter the amount of light.
This is a nice little alarm clock. Big numbers that are easy to see, but it dims itself based upon the amount of light in the room. At night, it is easy to read, but won't keep you awake. It's also nice to connect my phone via a cable so that it can charge. One less thing to take up the real estate on my bedside cabinet.

Fantastic alarm clock, not a great speaker.
Product received: Jul 29, 2020Original date of this review: Aug 22, 2020I recently lost my last alarm clock after 10 years of faithful service, this is my first one since then. I honestly think I should've switched sooner because this is an awesome product! You plug it in and it automatically sets the date and time (You may still need to adjust to the correct time out of the box but after that it should be fine). It has not just one but 2 alarms you can set (either for the entire week, just weekdays or just weekends, sat/sun). It has a nice, fat snooze button in the middle so you don't have to feel around too long to find it if you're just waking up. It seems to pick up really clear radio signals; I counted around 16 working channels with a wide variety of music and whatnot. The Bluetooth pairing works flawlessly so far, it's quite quick to connect and doesn't have any trouble staying connected. The range doesn't seem too great, though. The jack for the Aux cord works great as well if you don't want to connect via Bluetooth. Finally, the nightlight seems good. I hate having lights on at night but I did test to see how bright it was anyway. Gives a good amount of light in what would otherwise be a pitch-black room. It's not bright enough to navigate efficiently, but if you're just looking for a little bit of light to fill the room, this should be fine. Now some gripes I have with this product. First off, I kind of like the simplicity of the hardware, but considering how many functions it has, that also leads to some, in my opinion, minor downsides. For example, if you're listening to anything via Bluetooth/radio/aux, you can't change the display lightning, or check/change your alarms' settings. Also, I don't really listen to radio very often and I much rather use Bluetooth than aux to listen to music, but I can't really use the sleep mode if I want to do this. It does work in the sense that it turns off the Bluetooth, but the music continues playing on my phone after it shuts itself off automatically. It thankfully doesn't do this if I turn it off manually, but this is kind of a useless function, my case..Finally, the sound quality. It's standard radio sound quality. It has a tiny little section in the back for minimal fidelity sound, but that's it. I tested the range and it only reaches down to around 70Hz with a steep drop off in volume afterwards, though still barely audible down to around 30Hz, and reaches up to around 15,000Hz on the high end, completely cutting out at that point. It also buzzes a bit at certain low frequencies. I've managed to force some decent sound out of it with an equalizer, but in the long run it just makes it quieter. The speaker does get decently loud if you're in doors, but it doesn't travel very far if you're listening to music outside. Conclusion: If you're looking for an alarm clock with a speaker, this is an amazing product. If you're looking for a speaker with alarm clock functionalities, look elsewhere.

This is one really great clock radio!
Alarm clocks come in all sizes and shapes with all kinds of different features. I actually didn't want an alarm clock for myself, but rather my wife wanted a radio to use in the kitchen. I got her this one because it looked like it might be easier to use than her last one and also because she has poor vision and the picture showed nice large numbers. But when it came she told me she only wanted a radio, not an alarm clock. So, rather than send it back, I decided to swap it for my old alarm clock which was adequate but wasn't anything to rave about. This clock though, is something to rave about. This is the first clock I have ever owned that accurately and easily sets the local time all by itself! You just set the correct time zone and a few seconds later the right time is displayed. Nice. It also has two different alarms. That lets you set alarms for your work week and also for the weekend. I get up at 5 am during the week. On the weekends I sleep in till 8. I have both alarms set and I'm able to pick only M-F for one alarm and only Sat-Sun for the other alarm. As an old TV ad used to say, "Just set it and forget it!" Controlling the alarm when it goes off is easy too. If you do nothing it will turn off by itself after 10 minutes I believe. If you want it to snooze, just tap the front of the silver colored plate on the top and it will start the alarm again in a few minutes and if you want to turn off the alarm completely, just tap a button on the left side of the top and it goes silent until the next time that alarm should sound. Other nice features include an easy to turn on and off radio function that also has room for several preset stations. The clock numbers are cyan in color, which is easy to see. Plus there are 3 different levels of brightness for the numbers (really bright, medium, and dim) which you can change just by tapping a switch on the top of the clock. Speaking of the top of the clock, if you tap the back of the top plate it turns on/off a bright night light that is on the bottom of the clock. And you can also charge a phone or bluetooth device with a handy usb power connection on the back. And there is also an AUX plug on it, although I can't recall if it is AUX out or in. Haven't felt the need to use that function yet. And finally, like most good alarm clocks, this one has a place you can install a battery, so that you won't be late to work should there be a power outage where you live.
