We had a gap-baby so our older kids are 8+ years from their baby sister. We had those other shopping carts (you know the brand… the colorful plastic ones). They always fell back and the front of the cart would BOP my kids right in the face. Ouch!My husband was apprehensive to get this one but I assured him reviews said this doesn’t happen. We’ve had it for some months now and it is definitely sturdy and doesn’t fall back or bop my sweet baby in the face like the other big brand of children’s toys we’ve had. FISHERman are so PRICEless but not when it comes to the diagnosis of these shopping carts.I think these wooden carts outshine the other brand because the wheel isn’t directly under the handle. The wheel is set back far enough to counterweight the whole thing. And the speed adjuster is simple and easy to use! I love it.

I love that this is just wood so it's not overstimulating. Helped my baby walk when she was around 8 or 9 months old, which she found tremendously fun. We have the anti-tip walker and she hasn't tipped it despite doing some very questionable maneuvers with it. The speed control worked really well!My biggest issue with this is that it's really difficult to turn on carpet. My house isn't one long hallway so she still needs a lot of intervention to walk for more than a few seconds. Also my daughter loves to pull on the handle just to hear the wooden ball hit the side of the walker. It's pretty loud, but usually short lived. We've only used this on rugs, but I imagine the wheels would make some noise if you were using this on hardwood.

The wheels have two modes that slow down the cart speed, which prevents my daughter from tripping. It has better traction on wood floors compared to plastic wheels, which is great for babies who need support. The wood cart is made of high-quality material and can hold quite a bit of toys.

My child loves this however the back wheel keeps unscrewing and coming off during use and it is secured with a small screw. It’s a bit dangerous because the wheel rolls away and the screw comes off and we find ourselves rushing to find it before she does.

Solid Great Quality ! Easy to push and love the adjustable feature if used on hard floor so it doesn't go out from under child. More for under 2 years old unless child is small.
