Water-Proof Sling bag/Crossbody Backpack/Shoulder Bag with USB Charging Port for Travel, Hiking, Cycling, Camping

I bought this bag to replace one with a similar form factor from Swisstech. This bag is basically a duplicate of the Swisstech triangle sling. It has a main compartment and unpadded pocket with a thick mesh padded backing to the bag. The bag has a middle compartment with the lining used for another pocket, a front smaller pocket, a rear back pocket, and a side water bottle or umbrella pouch (if a small umbrella is used) on the side of the bag itself. The bag is lightweight and a good value for the price.The bag is made of this durable material in a nice checkered or gingham pattern in black and charcoal. The strap has a sunglasses loop and a pocket for a small phone. My Samsung A71 5G which is fairly long fits inside of in a very slim form factor phone case.Overall I am glad I bought this bag. I use it daily to commute to work. It holds my essentials like a pencil pouch, wallets, a few small toiletries, power pack, small first aid kit tin, masks, a portable fan, cords, my compact Michael Kors umbrella on the side, and my keys. The hardware is metal and clips on place but allows for the attachment of keychains or charms and charm bags too. The selling point for me aside from the familiar shape and form factor being triangular was the USB port for charging and a water bottle holder. Few sling bags and fewer triangular bags have a USB port. The port includes the cord in which the female port or head sits into. The cord itself is very long and the port fits into a plastic covering fairly tightly in the bag if you needed to remove it. It transfer power when attached to a power bank very easily. Used this as my only bag on a two week trip in Europe. Experienced rain and things stayed dry. Enough pockets to separate things and have a place for everything. Bottle area worked great for a medium size water bottle. Strap was very comfortable and could be switched to right or left side for carrying. I wore the bag as a front crossbody to deter pickpockets and had no issues or sense that anyone was trying to get to close or box me in to get access. Maybe the way I wore it and while on public transportation or congested areas I always kept a hand over the general area where all the zippers were. I am really happy with this bag and for the price it really is hard to find better. I compared it to a travelon crossbody backpack type bag and the travelon was smaller, antilock devices didn't feel like they would do anything to deter someone, was much harder to pack items into, and much more expensive.

It was the perfect size to hold my gear on day trips while on vacation. It's also very comfortable to wear since it can be moved to front or back and the strap is wide and padded. Nice bag.

I wasn't sure if this crossbody backpack would be large enough or as to the quality for a trip where we knew rain may be an issue. I have to say I was amazed at how much this backpack could hold and to the number of zipper compartments. At times, this backpack held my rain jacket, small purse, small travel umbrella (side pocket), passport, small blanket (during flight) and some snacks and/or extra pair of shoes (sandals). I also liked the strap for the side pocket. It kept my water bottle and/or umbrella secure, which was a problem for husbands backpack (other brand) that did not have this option. I never lost anything from the side pocket whereas the items in the side pocket of his backpack fell out (and were lost). Another cool feature of this crossbody packpack was the option to change the side of the strap. It also worked well placed in front of body and was super comfortable and breathable. Even well fully packed this bag never felt too heavy or awkward to carry. The zippers were of good quality and easy to use. I always select black for purses and packbacks but opted to go with the blue color, which I would describe as a blue/green (Jade). I loved the color and felt it was just the perfect amount of color.

This compact sling bag is just what I've been looking for......until the next bag! LOL It's inexpensive, around $25, and it's compact and light. I've gone through numerous backpacks which are great but their main drawback is when you sit down on a public transit like BART here in the Bay Area, you have to take the backpack off and place it somewhere then put it back on when you get off the train, unless you like sitting with a bulge on your back! With a sling bag, you can sling it around on your lap without having to take the bag off and on. An attache bag would allow the same ease of moving the bag around when you sit, but the one's I have are all relatively heavy and the way the attache bags sit on my shoulder and perhaps the way the bag hangs much lower makes my shoulder ache when carrying it for a prolonged time. But this sling bag is light and allows me to carry it high and tight against my back and I have had zero problems with shoulder aches thus far. The one issue I have with all bags is that the strap will loosen up after awhile as it is simply held in position by friction. I've figured out a solution for that, I simply put one of my pinned buttons on it to keep it in the position I need it to be as shown on my photo. Problem solved! I'm not too concern about longevity of this bag since it is relatively inexpensive and I tend to take care of my properties anyhow.
