This is a good economical yarn and my “go to” for projects that need a large amount of yardage.It washes well, and as it’s acrylic it’s pretty stain resistant.The color selection is very good - I’ve never NOT found a suitable color that I wanted / needed.I’ve had no issues with pilling - assuming that the finished project is handled properly.My only “irk” is that it’s “give” varies so much between different colors - which doesn't really make sense to me. Why would the blue be more “stretchy” than the grey? It makes adjusting your tension to accommodate for it, within the same project, fairly challenging.Overall? - it’s a good yarn that I’ve used for 30+ years.This was a “perk-free” review.

Variegated acrylic yarn. Not especially soft or bulky. Color is good.

Quality is AMAZING. I love this brand of yarn. It’s not difficult to use. Soft and was able to pull yarn out easily without knots. Great normal size.

This yarn is very pretty and will work well for my current project.The DHL delivery service... not so great

I give this yarn a 4.5. The colors are beautiful and the price is right. The yarn was easy to work but sometimes felt a little waxy. And occasionally one color would be knotted onto a different color which made keeping the striping pattern in tact a bit of a challenge. The picture shows a knitted throw in a seed stitch pattern.

I love Red Heart yarn, I've been using it for decades. I love all the colors they offer. I received the Red Heart "Retro Stripes" on Thursday & knitted this little beanie (toddler size 2-6) on Friday. It's 60 sts on size 7 needles and the stripes couldn't be more perfect. Will definitely tell all my "knit wit" friends about this lovely inexpensive yarn.

Bought the Purple Tones. Yarn is easy to handle and soft. Making a crocheted afghan with this. The Purple Tones create a purple camo pattern - spots of dark, medium,and light purples. The yarn does not fray when working with it and repeated unraveling. Using a size 5.5 mm hook to create my afghan. The stitches come out fairly large. Great value since you get 3 skeins in the set. Came packaged with yarn sticking out of package- don’t know if that was intentionalI also purchased the oatmeal and it turned out darker than in the photos they provided. It’s more of taupe than a light cream color in their listed photo.
