Overall, i haven't found a yerba I love more than I love the traditional yellow Canarias.It's bitter but not to the extreme, mellow and very easy to drink, a bit of sugar sometimes makes it delicious to sip on during the whole day and it keeps me alert without feeling anxious or making my heart race.

I have been drinking Yerba Mate most of my life since I grew up in Argentina where it is the national drink.Loaded with B-vitamins plus minerals - it is a fantastically wonderful drink to have each morning. I just drink two (not too strong) cups of Yerba mate each morning and that’s it. I feel so much better and it pretty much Eli’s me with my energy level, circulation, giving me strength, keeping me regular and balancing my ph levels as well as taking care of any hangover (a non-issue these days) that I have had in previous years.Just add boiling water. Let it steep for at least five minutes before drinking. Add a little sweetener. I mix mine with a little earl grey tea. Or drink it with some cocoa. Or just plain.Canarias is the best brand.

I drink 2 liters of mate each day. I bring a few kg of yerba from Uruguay each year but when I run out of it, Canarias here on Amazon is my go-to brand. At the current exchange rate, 3 kg of Canarias cost 15 dollars in Uruguay - half as much as on Amazon. I'd say the Amazon price is within reason.

I've been drinking this Mate for quite a while now and after trying many brands will not drink anything else. It's flavorful, and contains only the leaf, not the twigs.

Bought this as a gift. I don't have an issue with the product itself as it had good flavor. It lost a star because I put this on my wish list just prior to Christmas and the pricing seemed to change just about every day.
