I have been using my UConserve set, which has been great. I wanted to try this set for the variety of shapes and sizes and snap tops. I really like this set. They're lightweight metal containers, great shapes and sizes, I like the snap top lids. The only downside is I wish the rubber piece in the tops would jud out, instead of be flat, so it's easier to pull out and clean. I have a feeling the rubber piece may break soon. My glass containers' rubber top pieces jud out and are a durable material

I like these a lot except I wish the lids were also stainless steel and that they come in a larger sizes.

Nice set you can bake in the oven with them and I enjoy all the sizes that come with it

I purchased these to organize my freezer, but found these to be perfect for my fridge as well. These are perfect to store left over spinach and other greens, mushrooms, chick pees, baby tomatoes, garlic and so much more. They are just the right size, light weight, feel nice in your hands, easy to wash/dry. They came in perfectly packaged. The lids close easily and tightly. I only write reviews when I love a product or when I hate it. And this one is absolutely love! I even facetimed my mom to show her how practical and beautiful these are.UPDATE: I've been using these contains for 2 weeks and just logged back in to order more. My mother in law commented on how cute they are and I couldn't stop gushing over how practical they are. I now store nuts and ground coffee in these as well. Everything stays so fresh, it's actually unreal. You know how quickly cucumbers go slimy and cherry tomatoes go soft? Well, in these I've had cucumbers and tomatoes stored for 2 weeks... and they look like I just brought them from the store.

I just got these because I'm trying to be more health conscious when it comes to what we store food in and what we heat up our food in ETC and so when I found these I was really happy to find a container that wasn't breakable per se because glass is supposed to be one of the healthiest but I still have kids and that did not seem attainable so when I saw the stainless steel containers I've never heard of them before seen them to my knowledge I was excited to try them. I open up the box and these are very well wrapped very sealed kept clean containers which makes life so much easier and more comfortable seeing something that is clean to start off with. I have washed them in the dish washer so far and used them for some refrigerador items. I have not yet tested its leak proof qualities as its not winter yet but if have any issues I will update. The seal does look a bit different then what I'm used to but also never had stainless steel containers. The lids are more suction with snaps to make tight then a groove fits in each cut in and out lined designed like plastic dishwasher safe containers

The media could not be loaded. We have been using only glass for food storage for years now, in our shift away from all things plastic.. but glass is still heavy, and occasionally pieces would fall and break. Now that our little kids are coming to an age where they like to help in the kitchen a lot, we don't really want them having to take heavy glass containers in/out of the fridge all the time, and risk breakage and injury.We ordered this set, and were excited to extend our Stainless Steel collection lol! (Pots and pans, plates, bowls, tumbler cups, cooking utensils, silverware, collanders and mixing bowls, etc)We loved these stainless steel food storage containers so much after we started using them, we bought a second set! All friends and family that visit also comment on how much they like them. You really just can't beat stainless steel! We have peace of mind knowing we aren't storing food in plastic, and we aren't still using the heavy/breakable glass..Cliffnotes:- these hold so much food!- they don't/can't break!- they're very light, and are easy even for children and seniors to handle- they clean easily, manually or in the dishwasher- perfect for taking to school/work/picnic (so light, and don't leak!)- can reheat foods directly from storage containers, in the toaster oven (we don't use microwaves)- we replaced ALL of our glass storage containers with two sets of these stainless steel containers- we are keeping these containers in mind as gifts for family

It is not stainless steel. I would not recommend this item.
