Sony SA-SW5 7.1 inch 300W Wireless Subwoofer for HT-A9/A7000 Soundbars (Renewed)

I bought the Sony BRAVIA Quad speakers that was $2,500. Yikes. Yes it was expensive and I thought that was all I needed since it does produce some bass. After immediate setup, I realized just how lacking the bass was without a dedicated sub. For easy of connectivity and quality this was the clear choice. If you buy the quad setup, you must buy this. Bass quality is fantastic, build quality is perfect, setup and connecting it to my 16 speaker setup was a breeze, and while expensive, it's worth it if you've already dropped the 2.5k.

I bought this refurbished along with the HT-A9 system to replace my 14 month old samsung soundbar that failed. The Sony HT-A9 is a huge upgade to most home audio systems. The initial setup was straight forward and easy. The hardware looked perfect, visually. I haven't had any audio drop-outs like many people have complained about with this system. I highly recommend. I wish the sub had more output and feeling this way, I can imagine the smaller sub option is completely unacceptable. I gave 4 stars because of the high price and sub that barely makes the cut.

Bought renewed what a difference the woofer was in perfect condition. So far so good

While the bass volume is ample, it is loose & distorted. The Sonos sub bass is way tighter and hence more impactful, so I switched to the Sonos Arc & Sub.

The bass on this is great paired with the A7000 and sonys high end rear speakers, great sound quality. 5 stars.
