Damn fine coffee
Great value for money compared to supermarket prices. We love this coffee and will continue to order in bulk! Good aroma, great strength and great quality. We keep ours in the storage box it arrives in which is handy.

My mum loves it – smooth and full of flavour
Got this for my mum to try and she absolutely loves it. She’s quite particular about her coffee, but this one hit the mark straight away. It’s smooth, rich, and has a lovely depth without being too bitter. Great for a morning brew or an afternoon pick-me-up.it smells amazing as soon as you open it. Definitely going on the regular shopping list now!

Excellent
A very dark roast, but I personally like stronger coffee and so this was right up my street.Complex flavours and good value for money given the quality of it.

Very strong, finely ground
I have been buying whole beans from this brand and thought I would save some time in the morning and buy ground. This coffee is strong in comparison to the whole beans but that may be because I use a cafetiere not a filter /smells a bit different too. When grinding my own beans I use 20g fairly well ground in a small cafetiere, made with full fat milk about 40/60 to the coffee. This ground version only needs about 17-18g. In a coffee machine it is an easier going coffee. The beans have a slightly more mellow flavour which I find more palatable when making strong coffee. Of course, it could all just be variables within the bean and the experience could be different with another batch.

Amazing
Good quality Coffee. Does the job. I'm a big coffee lover and I've tried many brands out there and this one is in the top. The quality and taste is good. Well worth the money. If you want decent coffee this is the one to go for. Will definately be re-ordering again in the future.

Best ground coffee blend I know
I've travelled a lot in Japan and I think they get this kind of blend just right. For me Ueshima Tokyo has the ideal combination of sweetness, acidity and bitterness, and unlike most so-called medium supermarket blends isn't roasted too dark. My local Sainsbury's stocked this and the darker roast Ueshima for about a week, then dropped this one, sigh. The packaging feels Japanese too: the top strip actually pulls off neatly and the zip lock actually works.
