Works fine for Olympus OM-1 (Mark I and Mark II). Yes it is a little thin on the plastic, but it is a lot less expensive than the alternatives. The cable is built rugged enough, and it is nice to have the extension as an 'option' instead of the cable being so long all the time, as I use this remote directly behind the camera and only need a short cable.Overall it is built well enough to go the distance, if taken care of.

Perfect for what I needed. A simple shutter release button controlled by me. And it can auto focus with a gentle touch and full shutter release with a complete press. Works on my Nikon Z7II but not on my Zf. I bought it to use with the Z7II.

Got this to make a remote trigger for a 3D Printer, so I had to cut up the wire to solder it to a limit switch that I stuck in the printer. Worked out GREAT! I also tested the small remote it came with and that worked just fine. Good deal for the price for sure for a no frills hard wired trigger.

When you need simple, sure, straightforward control of your camera equipment this shutter control accessory is the choice of pros.

Update: My bad, I have more than one camera and was trying the remote with the wrong one. Sorry for the other feedback. I feel so dumb LOL!
