It is cheap plastic like the others said. It is also small and tight but I have a small head so it wasn't bad for me. It is also not really gold but a dull gold brown so it didn't match my costume

The band will stretch but you lose the curved effect. The back isn’t finished. Snakes look longer in pic. Ok in a pinch for halloween costume.

For a Medusa look these are super fun

The media could not be loaded. A fun affordable Medusa headpiece. It's plastic and has the costume Halloween feel but overall, it's great. I plan to add some stuff to it and paint but it's great on it's own. My only complaint is the headband is very very small. More suitable for a kid headpiece but works for adults.

This headband caught our eye as a costume novelty.We've got a family member who loves snakes. We're also familiar with the classic myths, which of course show up even in comics and animation and even TV ads today.We just wished this was more substantial and the actual headband part of this was a bit larger and easy to hold on one's head.
