JQUEEN Double Watch Winder with Quiet Japanese Mabuchi Motor

I have one decent watch (and a few older, ordinary ones) and since I became semi-retired I do not wear a watch ever day. As a result, when I do want to wear it, I have to manually rewind it and reset the time and date, which is frankly a pain! So when I saw this watch winder, my own cogs started whirring and since this model has several settings I thought it would suit my purpose in allowing me to wear my watch whenever I want with no hassle.The winder is beatifully made, with a dark wood veneer effect, and flawless high gloss piano lacquer finish. The interior compartment is nicely lined, again with no obvious flaws, and the hinges are bright chrome plated. All in all, looks a lot more expensive than the price suggests. It is virtually silent in operation, and so far absolutely reliable.My watch, in common with many, requires 650 turns per day (TPD) to fully wind. Since over-winding can in some cases damage the mechanism, and heeding the warnings of others, I set about a rudimentary calculation. I timed the winder and discovered it turns at 10.8 rpm, so if my maths are correct, running with the indicator on mode 4, the winder works for 8 minutes per hour (4 CW, 4 ACW), so 7.5 hours is just about enough for the 650 turns my watch needs per day. So I bought a digital timer and set it to 7.5 hours duration. This works perfectly - the watch remains wound but does not overwind. (Of course if I wear the watch that timing will need adjusting, or simply wait until the power reserve is nearly exhausted before putting the watch on the winder.) I realise that more expensive winders have alterable rates of TPD, but they cost hundreds of pounds, rather than £10 for a digital timer, and 3p worth of brain power! Buy with confidence!.

Appears to be a well made unit that performs with very little noise. Choice of winding modes is adequate for a winder. The adjustable cushions for attaching the watches is a bonus to me as I have a very small wrist. So far it has performed well, will have to wait to ascertain it’s longevity.

This watch winder box is in highly polished condition, which looks great. The box itself is not too big like some I have seen, it sits nicely on my desk. The box seems very well made, strong with great hinges, the interior seems plush in cream finish and my watches fit easily in place. The operation is easy with a descent knob for turning the settings 1 to 4, I find 4 is the best setting for my watches, it runs for 3 hours turning the watch every 5 mins then stops for 9 hours and starts again automatically, the motor is very quiet and I can hardly hear it.My only criticism is that the plug is a European plug with two pins and you will have to buy an adaptor plug for use in England, but apart from that very minor point, all in all a very attractive, well made box and silent motor and great value, but looks and feels expensive.

The box looks good and feels lovely, and after the first faulty one (very loud mechanism) which the was replaced with no fuss at all, this is so quiet I can't hear it moving next to my head.It doesn't fit large watches in as they hit the perspex but this is a great products for small and medium size watches.I do recommend this product for value for money, style and great customer service from this company.

I spent absolutely ages reviewing watch boxes. I went for this one as it was spacious (holds 13 watches). Also....I wanted one with different modes so my watches don't get overwound. It's a BIG box but looks fantastic and looks like quality. Now to the bad bit....the modes didn't work at all. I tried mode 4 which is SUPPOSED to turn both ways for 6 mins each for 3 hours and rest for 9. All it did was turn clockwise for 6 mins or so and then stop for over half hour and then do the same again...no anti clockwise. Absolute waste of money.....shame as it looks fab. I returned for a refund and I'm trying another...fingers crossed.

Wow ! This only arrived a couple of hours ago so I don't know the long term results , but , if you are looking for a watch winder for under a £100 ( at the moment there is a £20 discount voucher) then this could be the one for you. But you better get in quick, because once the word gets out the price will rocket. It has everything and more. It's lockable, holds more than 10 watches, unless you want to use the little drawer for other jewelry. You can even turn the winders off individually or set them to wind in different directions. You can even have alternative power, plug in or batteries . The interior cushions are faux leather, all of them, not just the ones in the winder , and the plug is a 3 pin uk one, and to top it off, the adapter that goes in the back of the box is at a right angle so you will be able to push it against the wall or whatever without the cable getting in the way, PERFECT!!!!Get it while you can!!!

Works very well for purpose intended but the dial is off so 4 clicks to a specific setting is only 3 clicks, so not fantastically made. But I know what it needs to be on so very little issue.

The mechanics work well, are very quiet, and are easy to use. The box is beautifully made and very attractive.

Eye-catching piece that works well and is pretty quiet when the motors are turning. Very functional for what it was intended for. I also own their 6-watch winder with storage for 6 more watches below and it is just as nice. This one has storage for 9 watches and winders for 4 watches. Great buy at the price I paid even had a coupon for an additional discount. Very pleased with my purchase.

Muy bonito diseño, parece de buena construcción. El motor es silencioso, aunque después de dos semanas de uso continuo, noto algún ruidito adicional, espero que sea normal por el uso. El único detalle que le veo es que no tienen ningún foco o led que indique que está encendido… si se agotan las baterías pues uno no sabe cuando esto sucede hasta que te das cuenta que el aparato ya no da vueltas o los relojes se paran… eso debería mejorarse.
