Why is it not recommended to dilute these drops in distilled water?

I think it is because distilled water is totally dead water.

Does gentian stimulate appetite

The Bach Flower remedies work on an emotional level.Gentian its helpful if we have had a disappointment or setback. It is possible that as a result of this a person may loose their appetite,If so then Gentian might be helpful.However we loose our appetite for many reasons - it would need further exploration.

Can I add 2 drops of star if Bethlehem and 2 drops of sweet chestnut together in water and sip through the day?

I don’t use that particular Bach Remedy but for the one I use I do add the daily dose to a glass of water and sip it throughout the day

Is it ok to put these remedies on the tongue instead of in water?

I have read that it is. Best look it up though to be sure. I'm using 7 at the moment so I find it easier to put them in spring water and sip it throughout the day. I'm really not an expert on it....sorry
