The this isn't the answer, maybe you should speak to you children and explain that their noisy behaviour upsets the dog? Using this won't make any difference, a calm house will.

Yes it will fit. The collar can be cut to size also. I use the collar regularly to help calm my dog with anxiety in social settings. She wears it for a while 2 weeks at a time, and I fit it under her normal collar. It does help to calm her, she goes all sleepy when first put on, as so relaxed! Hope it helps you.

I don't know, but I suggest you measure their neck and look at size guide on the product. The medium to large fits my dog who is a Staffy Labrador neck size (17kg). The collar gives you room to cut it down. Worse case scenario order two in largest and medium large and return one after you have tried size. You have to peel the strip to activate, so it should be returnable if un peeled.

I have the plug in but don't seem to make any difference when leaving my lurcher does anyone think collar may be better??

We used the collar on our boarder collie for the first time last November because she is terrified of fireworks in fact she is scared of any loud noise. The effect it had was amazing, she seemed hardly bothered by the fireworks. Normally she would be hiding shaking and panting but we had none of these she was very calm and we would certainly recommend the collar to anyone with a dog with a nervous disposition.
