Great every person with a tuneable instrument ought to buy one or two!
I’ve had one of these for years - exceptionally good. And a bargain too.

Better than the rest
Very good, battery power lasts well. Much more superior to the cheapy Clip on tuners, more accurate, good device

Not great outside standard tunings
Bought this as I wanted something more accurate than a headstock tuning, and I didn't need the ease of use that offers. The tuner works great, as long as all you want is tuning to standard. Once you are outside that, it just stops showing the note you are closest to. So for example if you want to tune down to drop D, it will only keep showing that your E is very flat.. A workaround is to switch from guitar to bass tuning, where you get drop D on the second string, but if you want anything more exotic than drop D that won't work. It's really annoying cos wouldn't expect Korg to put out something with such a fundamental flaw..

great for a total novice
I bought my grandson an electric guitar, none of the immediate family had ever tried to tune one before so it was all guesswork. A friend gave me a clip on tuner and we tried that, but couldn't get the guitar anywhere near sounding right and even with my untrained it was never right. So I bought one of these Korg plug in tuners and straight away could see the difference. Where the clip on one reacted to any sound in the room, or didn't react at all, as soon as we plugged the guitar lead in and turned the tuner on the 'needle' on the screen showed how far each string was out and which way we needed to turn the knob. In no time we had it tuned and it even sounded good too. I suppose it may not be good enough for experts, but for us it was great having a decent sounding noise coming from his beginners attempts rather than the rough cacophony we had before.
