No these are wireless MIDI connections so that you can use MIDI over Bluetooth

Q: Does it work with a Clavinova CLP-120?

The Clavinova CLP-120 has standard 5 pin DIN MIDI ports, so there is no reason why the Bluetooth MIDI Adapter wouldn't work. It has worked on every device I have tried it with.

Q: I know this is advertised for Apple but does anyone know if it works with Android devices.

Yes the device is definitely compatible with ANDROID as well as the PC platform. Please note however, you may need an additional APP to route the MIDI data to the Bluetooth hardware. This appears to have been overlooked by many platform providers. There are a number of third-party apps that will address this shortcoming.

Q: Hi, will this work with a yamaha clavinova with and ipad and simplypiano? i'm concerned about the latency on a bluetooth device? thanks in advance :-)

I have a YAMAHA Clavinova CVP103. It works perfectly, although I am playing the KORG Module on my iPhone. The latency is not noticeable and has no impact upon my playing. A humble iPhone is enough to deliver excellent results. Latency is generally is app-dependent. I did find GARAGEBAND had poor latency and you could perceive the delay between keystrokes and hearing the sound such that playing accurately was impossible. you should get good results with most YAMAHA apps.
