Great tool for every gym-goer
I have run several programmes in the past, mainly focusing around powerlifting, with an initial period of just general fitness and mass gain, and believe this log works well for both. This log has an excellent cookie cutter template for programmes such as Stronglifts 5x5 or ice cream fitness 5x5 due to its ease of use and easy to understand layout. The book outlines setting goals based on a session by session basis, allowing you to note down factors like overall tempo, and any additional notes; such as RPE, pre session nutrition, or overall feel of the session, which can be a great help when trying to identify key factors that may be limited or facilitating progress after the noob gains period has ended. There is plenty of room to list each exercise, especially in high volume splits such as push, pull, leg (PPL) or overall body part splits, with each exercise allowing you to record up to 5 sets in one line. For the most part 5 sets is normally enough for most programmes but those following very high volume templates; such as GVT, it may become annoying , although I found a quick way round this by just listing the same exercise in the below slot and continuing to track from there.Due to 5 sets trying to be squeezed onto one sheet of A5 it can be difficult to list larger numbers, or common decimals in the small boxes given to list the weight of your exercise, which in turn makes looking at previous sessions a bit difficult from time to time, although those with smaller handwriting should have no issues at all. For most advanced training templates; and some beginner ones, there may be different focuses on the style of exercise e.g tempo/speed work, time under tension work, or basic strength work, in which it is important to distinguish between exercises styles to help log and track progress in certain areas/ organise your training schedule, this is something the log can do very well due to its generous room to list your exercises each session, which means you can easily write little notes underneath each exercise to outline minor details. One minor flaw is the lack of being able to track wave based periodization to help with ease of session templates and set/rep/weight goals. Those following templates such as GZCL may be familiar with regularly changing estimated 1/2RM, in which every session has parts based around %1/2rm. There is no designated page to help track regularly changing goals such as these which can make planning a bit of a nuisance, possibly an extra couple of the pages at the back could help? The log itself is made of high quality material and has so far survived being held loose in my gym bag, alongside lifting shoes, chalk, wraps, and other equipment, which seemed to have only made minor damage to the front cover; which is to be expected. It’s compact A5 size means it’s easy to throw in your gym bag, and carry around the gym with you, and can be a lot easier to makes detailed notes in compared to some smartphone apps available.TL;DR - The book allows great tracking on a session by session basis, which is excellent for both experienced and new gym-goers, alike, those using very tailored training patterns e.g using conjugate periodization may need additional tools to help track long term goals and objectives, but this log gives a great way to measure and monitor your gym progress over time, I would highly recommend!

Provide the motivation and accountability I needed to hit the gym
The workout planner is fantastic. It really helped me start to truly take my gym routine to the next level and provide an accountability I needed for success. The planner is sleek and has many visible options for you to choose from. I chose the green one because Green.. but all options are lovely. There is many pages and a lovely page layout for you to provide context to your workouts and write any notes you need to remind yourself of for the next session.

Useful resource with annoying front page
A great little book with no nonsense. Pages are laid out sensibly and it's totally practical. The boxes are a little too small for a quick note in the gym but it's A5, so what do you expect! Small price to pay for an easily portable format. The only thing that annoys me is that 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 the entire inside of the plastic from cover is taken up with details of how to review this product on amazon, which extremely annoys me because it could have been a quick reference chart of some kind to be useful. Also it's tacky. At least put it on the inside back cover?!

Excellent Log Book!
Excellent exercise log book. Not too bulky, but plenty options for many different types of exercise. Space to add lots of different strength exercises, as well as cardio/conditioning. And a notes section where you can pop your warm up, playlists you've used, anything you struggled with etc. It's pretty versatile! There's also a couple of cute designs if you want them, and a simple charcoal if you prefer something plain. The boxes for reps/weight could do with being a little bigger, but I manage with it.Great tool to track progress, to help you keep your routines varied, and to keep you focused during lockdown!

Clear and easy to use, lovely to look at!
There isn't anything which I can criticise about this little book. The first page has a section for training goals, and the last few pages make it possible to track progress - weight, body fat, measurements etc. In between are many clear, well designed and attractive pages. This book has everything you need - with room for specific exercises, cardio types and notes (each day). A nice touch is the section for rest intervals and tempo.I am very much looking forward to using this in my training. Yes, you can purchase various cheaper alternatives across the web BUT I have found these are not as sturdy, do not have enough room to track exercises, and the general quality is not as good as this workout log. The cover is sturdy and the pages are not flimsy.Moving forwards, I would love to see a greater range of designs :-) It is clear that a great deal of time and effort has been spent planning this log, and I am glad to be supporting a small business.

Not great. See photos.
The actual log contents looks really good; However the listing says “ BUILT TO LAST - Heavy-Duty 100-gsm paper designed to withstand punishment on the gym floor and sweaty gym bag; Double-wire binding spirals for long-lasting durability”Except mine arrived with the pages all stuck together where the machine hasn’t cut the holes properly. After separating the pages, the log now won’t close. See photos of what it looks like from opening it once! I can’t even imagine what it would look like after daily use for a month. It definitely needs something wider and sturdier than the small wire ring binder.

Good log book
Been going to the gym fairly regularly and the old log book filled up quickly. Needed a new one quickly and saw this. Great inspirational quotes at the front, easy fill spaces for exercises. Very detailed.

Great for consistency
I loved using this book during my weight cut because it kept me accountable and I had a solid copy where I can track my progress. It’s not too big or small and the layout is easy to understand.
