I have an older, special needs son, who loved these metal sand toys. Because he is older, this set was age appropriate for him. My son really had a lot of fun with this set! They are a good quality metal, with beautiful bright colors. Definitely worth the money, for a family who will need them year after year!

I bought these for my 2 year old Grandson to play with in his sand table. They are the perfect size for his little hands and come in fun bright colors. They have held together well so far. They are kept in a covered sand table, and are not exposed to the elements, so I am sure that helps with their longevity. Very lightweight and sturdy enough to dig in the sand, build a sandcastle, destroy it, repeat.

The media could not be loaded. Our grandson loves to help out in the yard and our adult size tools were just too big for him to use. We ordered these and he is already enjoying using them. The wooden handles are great and the bright colors make them fun and attractive for him to use, a bucket that we had to store them in so they are readily available for him when he helps them when he helps us outside. I am sure they would also be a great asset for a trip to the beach.

I really wanted to like these garden tools for toddlers. They are well-designed, colorful and just the right size. But, unfortunately several of them were loose at the point that the shovel part was attached to the wooden handle. I tried to tighten the screw but could not, so I returned them. I was sad to do so but I was afraid that the garden tools would break upon use and my grandsons would get hurt.

My children who really like to build things in the sand prefer the metal end shovels and rakes. This set seems well made and should last us at least couple of years. You really can't beat them for the price.
