My chair only came in two separate packages on two separate days, but fairly close to each other. The assembly is no joke. Took me a little under two hours, but the pieces are bulky and a little heavy. So it probably would go smoother with two people. Overall happy with the product, it’s not as uncomfortable people make it seem. It certainly isn’t the coziest chair and I would buy a mattress topper if it was ever used as a bed. But it works for me! One thing that drove me nuts was that they labeled the parts with stickers, and some were put right on the fabric and they don’t come off easy.

Very good product and the Customer Service is fantastic.Easy to put together but I did run into an issue where the wheels/stoppers for the chase-customer service was great to help replace it. Last note is it is not the softest if used as a bed. Recommend getting a Twin Pillow-top or something to soften it when sleeping/using as a cot!WARNING! This product will come in 2 boxes so you may receive one before the other. Best bet is to wait until you have both boxes before trying to put anything together.

Was a little concerned about the reviews on here about setup, but as someone with moderate experience assembling ikea-style furniture like this at home I had no issues. I set it up by myself tonight and it took about 75 minutes total from unpacking to sitting in the final outcome. I followed the instructions (zipped up in the back of the seat, took a bit to find it) carefully, did not completely tighten any screws until all the screws for the step were in place, and had no alignment issues. I did not need any tools outside of what was provided.It's definitely a very firm chair/bed and I plan to add a cheap mattress topper as other people have suggested, but I knew that before I bought it and it's true to what the company claims. I'm glad I chose this one.

This is a very attractive piece! I've even seen this same chair in movie sets. Unfortunately, the item was damaged by the carrier. We let them know and customer service rep Lexi was very prompt is offering us a replacement that was not damaged.Thanks!

The assembly was decent but I came across a problem when attaching the arm rest section to the base, each side requires 3 screws and for whatever reason one side had one hole where no matter what you did, the screw would not fit. I couldn't believe it, It just would not go through no matter what. I'm not sure whether I should've maybe attempted to drill it a bit larger but it seemed like there was metal ring normally where the bolt rests when its fully screwed in. I just ended up leaving it like that unfortunately. So far it seems alright leaving it like that but one side of the backrest does move a bit when moving it.The foam doesn't seem the best quality, it is true that it is rather stiff. In less than a week I noticed that the area where you sit developed a noticeable indent on it. Honestly the compressed foam doesn't bother me too much even if it happened really quickly. Sitting and when the extension is extended to stretch your legs on it feels fine but where it does become a problem is when you use it as a bed. Where it got compressed for me is where the lower back goes and because the extension's foam is fine, it creates a noticeable difference in height. It's enough that you're back is going to hurt because there's a dip there and there's no support. Not sure if I'm only having that issue.The chair creaks more than I would like, not sure if it's because it wouldn't let me get that last screw in or the foam compressed enough that you when you sit on it, you get close to the inside base wooden frame and it ends up creaking but who knows. It's pretty good though, it is decently comfortable and the cup holders are very convenient to have (the color chair I got came with 2 holders). I do recommend that if you're going to use this as a bed, you might want to use a topper or something like that.

One box arrived early, the other two boxes came two days later, so I needed to wait to assemble the chair. It would be helpful at time of the order to receive all three tracking numbers. Once I unboxed all the parts, the instructions to assemble seemed straightforward until the wheels needed to be put on. Instruction drawings and written instructions do not match. Highly recommend to watch assembly video from manufacturer. Sofa bed chair more stiff than I anticipated. Will need to add some foam or cushion to make it softer for guest to sleep. Otherwise, I love the navy blue color and design of the chair.

I ordered this on a Saturday and it got delivered on Thursday. we bought it specifically for the bed function. It’s pretty firm so I will add a twin foam mattress to make it a little more comfy. It’s nice and wide and has cup holders. It took me about an hr to put it together with a 1 and 3 yr old helping me.

I love this product. I couldn’t decide between accent chairs and recliners to add extra seating to our living room… then I stumbled upon this product which seemed to be the perfect in-between option. Not super heavy and bulky like a recliner, yet it reclines. More aesthetically pleasing than recliners but not as stiff as accent chairs and more comfortable. Definitely recommend giving this product a try.
