I would suggest firstly that you follow tutorials on YouTube.My set came with 2 ways to install.Clicky you need to solder a little, non clicky you don't and is very very simple to install and works a charm.I went for the simple install myself and that works well. I love the short throw.Great value considering you get both options.The grips feel great in hand. Built well.I had two Elite V2s develop the same issue so decided to custom a base controller and it looks and feels pretty elite. Faceplate, interchangeable sticks, and buttons along with triggers all from extremerate. (Also added a strike pack as I wasn't that comfortable to solder things).Happy with how it all turned out. In fact I've ordered another set of everything and a base pad to have a spare.

Please watch the video on how to install this product; ExtremeRate has a step-by-step guide with commentary so that you will avoid disappointment.You will need soldering skills and good soldering iron with a precise tip, including solder and soldering paste (the paste is essential here to have a good connection).I recommend good metal tweezers, snips, and screwdriver sets with Philips and T bits.My video shows a complete controller rehaul from the standard), and I used their products only.You can listen to how it sounds and looks ( custom shell, triggers, buttons, back buttons).For the sticky trigger button (on/off), I recommend a tiny drop of bike chain oil or silicon grease and working it in ( wipe the excess away), ensuring smooth operation.Very happy, thank you ExtremeRate !!!

Really good quality and work brilliantly. You do need to do some soldering and trimming of your controller. If you don’t have a soldering iron and a steady hand you may struggle. They aren’t just plug and play

Followed the instructions exactly how they did it and now my controller can’t be more than 6’ from my xbox, and loses connection frequently and takes a little bit to reconnect.

Installed these with the back button kit also by eXtremeRate. Everything works great, the buttons have a really nice tactile feel. I didn't need to clip part of the controller frame like the video tutorial said to do, and I've had no issues with functionality. If you're also installing these with the back button kit, install that first then install this kit.

Product works exactly as it’s described. Downside is that it comes to little to no instructions on how to install but with a quick search on youtube (extremerate trigger stop installation) on youtube they have a detailed video which makes it really easy. Rubber grips give it a nice feel when playing and also comes with mouse click buttons you can install as well if you were wanting to go that route. (also a video on youtube as well, involves disassembling controller and soldering) Would recommend if you’re trying to make some small modifications to your xbox controller!
