Very happy with this screen door. Even though it is for a garage bay technically, I used it to replace a similarly-styled magnetic screen on my sliding deck door which immediately shrank in warm weather and direct sun. This new screen, however, is of a clearly different material (heavier) and the holes are a little larger but nothing I worry about with bugs. The Velcro surround on both the front and back allows this screen to be reversible so you’re sure to be able to use it on right or left side doors. The actual opening skews much closer to the side jamb than the previous version we owned, and I like this because it is less visually disruptive. My dogs navigate the opening without issue and the screen re-closes instantly after they pass through. My only advice, other than trust the other positive reviews, is to measure the exterior dimensions of your sliding door carefully so you buy the correct width - this one was just big enough to reach the wood trim on ours.

Purchased this for the outside of our kitchen door in the winter. (In the summer we have a curtain screen there), so all the velcro was in place and ready to go for the plastic barrier. I took the door measurements from the summer screen ( also purchased on Amazon) and ordered the plastic barrier in the SAME SIZE, so it would fit the velcro! Sounds easy, right? Wrong!! Below I've listed some issues (Positive and negative) to address :Negatives~1. The actual barrier was smaller, and the velcro didn't match up to the existing velcro. I had to create anew track closer to the door, about 2 inches inward on all 3 sides. What I thought would be a 60 secondswap out, turned into a 45 minute project.Now I have 2 rows of velcro around the outside of my kitchen door, which isn't very pretty, but when thescreens are up they are covered, so live and learn.2. I wish this company had a velcro color choice. Black or white for the doors to blend in with the frameswhen not in use. The black stands out on my white door frame, so I may replace this summer so it doesn'tlook so trashy.3. Some of the velcro lost its sticky side adhesiveness, so I had to use what I had leftover from anotherdoor.Positives~1. The barrier is great, now that it is up! It keeps the cold out when you open the door.2. The velcro is strong, & the plastic is clear to see outside3. Magnets...Some folks on here are talking about wind breaking the magnetic seal. I have not had thatproblem.4. Another feature -The magnets are located inside the fabric, so you'll never lose the magnet.5. Dogs can go in and out freely and the seal closes behind them. I will update as the winter progresses, but this was a good purchase.

I was a bit leery this would work even though such great reviews.I was able to put it up myself with no problems, I'm 81, and my 3 dogs figured it out quickly. It will be so great this summer to have the door open and no bugs. Highly recommend.

Perfect fit for my apartment. Really like the ability to roll it up during non buggy weather. Magnets seem strong and the material is thick enough to seem to last while letting a nice breeze in. However, they do NOT provide extra tape or nails. I had just enough tape for the job (an extra inch) and 1 extra nail (did five each on side and top) Lay it out first, attach the Velcro, then cut.

This is a must have if you have a patio door that keeps a slew of traffic.
