Fits Altea 2.0 tdi 16v
This repair kit saved me a fortune instead of replacing my air-conditioning compressor on a Altea 2.0 tdi 16v this kit fixed the problem. It is still working fine without any problems 6 months later. This appears to be a fairly common fault on some models where the splines on the air-conditioning pulley shear so the compressor stops turning and therefore stops cooling but this repair kit solved the problem for me. To determine if you might have the same problem check to see if the bolt at the centre of the air-conditioning pulley is not turning when the pulley is turning. If the pulley is turning and the centre bolt isn't then the splines are probably sheared like mine.

Brilliant, tenth of the price of a new compressor
Easy to fit, but you must use a good quality tx30 bit to remove the bolts...Air con works again....

What a saving!
Great delivery and great instructions on fitting this item! I had a little trouble getting it onto the splines but wow! Air Con. Back working and several hundreds of pounds saved. I'm happy!
